What if the Gods held a meeting, called by Eliza, because the Core had the knowledge of the huge meteor heading towards Sonofar? Then, they would choose the eight Chosen Ones together! I know they're already decided, but pff, the Gods don't just call eachother on their cellphones and say, 'hey, let's go and tell TigerDreaming she's going to go and take away this huge meteor with a couple friends. anyway, where was that dress you were telling me about?'. They'd need some way to tell eachother which ones, don'tcha think?

Well, I was basically planning to have this. Everyone is going to gather at the meeting lands, and I mean everyone. And then Eliza giving out powers from those that step forewards, and then she basically goes into a trance.
