Race Name: Penguina (pen-GWEEN-ah)
Race Description: Penguinas like the water, a lot. Some prefer not to go onto land at all, spending their whole life under the water. Penguinas seem to "fly" under the water. They swim much faster than Hippocampi. Penguinas are a cross between a Hippocampus and a Hyppogryph. Feathers cover their entire body, unless there is a strange mutation in their genes which causes then to have no feathers and only scales. This mutation usually causes them to die at a young age because they don't inherit gills from the Hippocampus parent (they do have lungs, but spend most of their time underwater). They are attracted to water like metal is attracted to a magnet. They make nests for their young on floating rocks or small islands in the water. They lay bird-like eggs. Some Penguinas have a beak, others have a horse's mouth. Penguinas have control over water. They can also talk to some small species of birds (penguins, cardinals, blue birds, things like that). Most Penguinas have black on their backs and white on their bellies and on the inside of their legs, but some inherit fish colored feathers.
