Title: Returning Home

Frost walked up a hill, the last hill before being able to see all of his terra. Once he made it to the top he glanced at the land, snow covered the grassy areas wile the river had chunks of ice scattered throughout. He smiled, 'I wonder how Aquas doing...' He sighed thinking more, 'I wonder if she would be able to be Alphess...' He sighed again looking up to the sky. He closed his eyes slowly, then a howl ripped past his jaw.
He slowly lowered his head, glancing at the landscape once more. "It's so peaceful here..." His voice was almost silent, after all, no one was listening. He sighed remembering that Aqua is a Goddess. 'Aquas a Goddess, she woulden't ever want to be with me... She would probably rather be with the God of wolves...'
He sighed beginning to tred down the slope, "mabye so, mabye not." He chuckled to himself, "most likely "mabye so"." He chuckled again slowing his pawsteps as he reached the bottom. He walked past Aqua's hole.

Aqua looked down at the river. From this angle it looked like a winding serpent, blue on white. She flapped her wings. She had to be at least one hundred feet off the ground, any higher and she wouldn't be able to tell what was what. But from here she could make out all the land features and tell that the ant-size speckle on the ground was Frost.
No signs up here either.... she thought. She was up here looking for any signs that would help her translate StarHerd's dream. She vividly remembered the diamonds and the images she had seen on them. Fire, stone, ice, and creature. All of them had been there.
A shudder ran up her spine and she dived to the snow-covered ground below. She landed just in front of her burrow. And here came Frost. She watched him as he strolled passed her den. "Good day, Sir Frost," she dipped her head and tried to sound as normal as possible.
She had left herself unguarded last night, not using the formal language she had been taught. She had even jumped in a river! That was not like her at all. It was the complete opposite, but she just couldn't help herself.
Trust and honesty, she heard a voice say within her. You have learned one, now master the other.... It echoed through her mind, calm and relaxed. It soothed her and put her on edge at the same time.
Who is this? Aqua though, panic-stricken.
A friend.... was all the voice answered.
What is that supposed to mean? she shouted, but no answer came. She blinked and re-focused her thoughts on the land around her.

Frost bowed his head in respect to her, "good day to you aswell!" He looked at her noticing something was troubling her, "may I ask what troubles you, Aqua?" He said siting down and scratching his ear with a back paw. He yawned a bit, "pardon that, Aqua. I'm still a bit sleepy."

Aqua looked at him. Was she an open book? A thing he could read without any special effort? "Oh, nothing much..." she said, trailing off. She wanted to tell him, oh, how badly she wanted him to know! No words came when she thought, none that could phrase what she was feeling. A mixture of nervous anticipation, uncertainty, and... warmth, that confused her beyond belief.
She inhaled deeply and looked into the distance. Then, it dawned on her. The dream from StarHerd had to be related to this river, this land that she had agreed to stay in. Maybe even a power struggle inside her between her personal life and her duties as a Goddess.
She looked at Frost and felt a warmth again. She wished that he would be able to understand all this if she told him. She wished that every common wolf would be able to comprehend the life of the Gods. The weight on their shoulders, the struggle that all of them faced inside. She wanted to let out a howl of distress, but couldn't. A lump formed in the back of her throat. She swallowed, pushing back the tears. None of this was visible outside, she made sure of that, and it wasn't long before she had regained her poise and stopped herself from beginning to sob.

His face turned to where he looked puzzled, 'she said shes alright... But she doesn't look like it...' He sighed walking over and next to her, "I didn't mean to upset you, or even anger you... I was just... curious." He smiled before stopping. "And I definitely didn't mean to insult you." He said before sitting down.

Aqua gazed at him. She didn't feel angered or insulted. She sighed inwardly, she didn't know what she felt any more.... She gazed at his face. "I don't know any more..." she said and stood up. She flapped her wings and fluttered off. She didn't know where she was going, nor did she know why. All she knew is that she had to get some answers somehow, and she wasn't going to find any here.

Note: I'm sorry! I thought I logged in. Just delete the other two, okay?
Frost's smile turned to a frown as he watched her fly off. 'I wonder what's wrong...' He sighed, looking up at the sky, letting a howl rip past his jaw. "Hopefully she will come back..." He said with a hopful tone. He walked over to his hole, looking around for her first; Before walking into it and lying down. He sighed again, feeling bored and lonely. "Mabye I'll just... Just take a nap." He said nodding as if agreeing to something then closed his eyes, drifting to sleep.
