Title: Caleanie

Caleanie sat, rather impatiently, under a tree. She quickly stood and began walking in circles around the tree. I am so bored, she thought. She had a feeling she'd be there a while and was getting pretty warm. She paused for a moment when she thought she saw someone approaching, but immediately continued walking. It must've been my imagination.

With a skip in her gait, a smile perched on her sandy lips, a very confident SandStorm walked into the Claiming Grounds. Her hooves clipped the ground while she did a evenly trot. The beaches where she lived were wonderous, but she needed to share them. Ever since her older brother Onzilli went off to do his 'god' duties, leaving his younger frisky sister left with nothing to do but amire the sun rises and sets. Cantering across the golden sand. Such a hard life...

With he sibling's eyes off her, she was free to rule the beaches as a lady. Though she had not a drop of lady-like in her, she thought she did a pretty good job, seeing that all she did was wander around.. and around. The escape from the beach was sudden, thinking that waiting all day for her brother was annoying enough - time to claim!

Whilst happily skipping unlong the ramed earth below, where her father had once did, she spied upon a alandor. Though she was one herself, she was still curious as can be, and went in closer towards the circling mare. Another case of boredom...

"Hey! I'm SandStorm, Lady of Dolphin Beach, Younger brother of the God Onzilli!" Her voice was as confident as a car salesman with a pushover customer. Maybe if she was human... She stood infront, waiting for a reply.

Caleanie heard a voice from behind her. "Hello. I'm Caleanie," she said shyly. She inched toward the mare. At least it's someone to talk to, she thought. She kept her head down, as always when not feeling confident.
