Its coming...the first episode of a story that we all know very well. Prepare for the coming of some old faces in the story of the end of the world and the begining of a totally new one! Prepare for ZANZIRA: THE ANIMATED SERIES!

Now, this is the place to discuss this series if anyone wants too.


CHARRIES
First order of buisness, the story will be focused around the original Zanzira charries. The main character, I am happy to say, will be Zulu, with her mother (SW help me remember her name her past and stuff pwease!) narrating. The story will be focused on the Gradors mainly too, with the Aves as a alliance almost, and the Shadows as the "bad guys" though they are not really the "villian villians". They will sort of be hinted at having a darker flavor to them. I have the characters-

Zulu
Neshenti
Tauri
Gaul (probably will become a bad guy [Sorry])
Tigerclaw
Nyx (not too important, but comes in)
Silver (not too important, but comes in)
Eliza (eventually)

But, my memory is not very good. I cannot remeber the names of the Shadows, espeacially the old leader of Silver Mountain, (which I believe was one of SW's charries but I can't remember).If anyone wants any of their old charries "revived" in the new series, please say so. These roles will probably be small though.


VOICES

I am giving out a major call to anyone with a microphone! We need some voices here! Go ahead, record some tryouts for characters and then post them somewhere where I can hear them. The best voices will be used for the characters.

BUT.......

My sister will be doing Zulu. She has a young, small, very female kind of voice, and is what we need for Zulu. And I will be doing Nesh-Nesh (rawr!). So if anyone feels like sayin' YA HOOLIGANS in a grandma voice or trying to get deep and masculine with Silver of Gaul be my guest!

MUSIC

Once again, I ask for music.

I need something without real words to it, but something that can promote different feelings all the same. If anyone has, say, movie soundtracks to Lord of the Rings or Narnia or anything for that matter, if you could rip some into MP3s that you could send me I would be very happy.

(if not, then I guess you guys will be hearing a lot of the same tracks I have saved to my computer already)

I found out I don't have a microphone.. :o Oh well, mom probably wouldn't let me anyway. <_< Anyway, good luck! A lot of Spirit soundtracks, if you could find them without the words, would be good... but they all have words..

Can I do Tigerclaw's? Pleawse?? I might have to disguse my voice; and get my parents permission. (Or edit on meh program that came with photo-shop) IF I can't do the above; Ish give pictures made in Corel DRAW and a voice I likeh. Tigerclaw is a bit of tomboy; so she has a deep voice (female ofcourse). (Yeah, as you can see I have alot of graphics programs) No wonder my computer was running out of memory before it was wiped.

Also, ish have fantastic memory. I can remember when I was two. So remembering the few characters will be easy as pie. (all hail pie XD)

I love how a laptop has a microphone. Ish getting laptop for mehself soon.

(BTW; looking at my uncles 1000's of CDs, he's bound to have them both)

I know of a site where you type what you want the person to say and select the person to say it, and you click 'enter' and it gives you an MP3 that says what you typed. It sounds slightly strange, like a robot, so it might be good for when felins are in The Rage. Or, if we can't figure out how to get the microphones, we could use it.

Go ahead TG, give her a shot! Just record and upload so I can hear it. If I like it I will start setting up a script for you to record!

Hmm...I think I saw that site before, somewhere. You know what it would be good for? The Core. He should have a voice like that.

What I really want for music is the Narnia soundtrack. I am terrified to download it off of the internet because...well, viruses like to travel on those kind of things don't they? The soundtracks I really want from that CD are:

1. The Blitz, 1940-perfect for the section in the begining where I show human destruction
2. Evacuating London- The crossing of the Great Bridge is what this is for, peaceful serene, but has a underlying message of sadness.
3. The Battle- Well, doesn't Zanzira go to war in the first chapter? A nice little battlescene is gonna happen in one of the first few episodes.\

But gosh, if I could get all of them, I would scream like a little girl in the C-Box.

I have the original Zulu story saved on my desktop, if you wanna use it or anything like that I'll PM it to you. I'll look up her mother's name later.

Darkwind was the leader of Silver Mountain. Dhara was the first mare her claimed, then one of LE's I believe and I think Mumbleh or TG had a charrie there too.

I have a microphone, but mom probably won't let me use it. If I had a sound editting program to mask my voice I might be able to use it. But the program would have to be free.

(I can't wait to see who tries to do Nightheart's voice. YA HOOLIGANS!)

I still need voices! Anyone willing to lend a voice is welcome to tryout for anyone! We need to get rolling! Your computers should already have a sound editing program called Sound Recorder. It is under accesories. Thought I should let you guys know about it!

I could probably find music on playlist for you. I'll test them out see if it's safe for your pc. Also what type of music are you looking for?

Something with no words, I don't care what it is really. Just something that has different...different feelings to it, if that makes any sense at all.

I have some bad news.

Something is wrong with the only microphone I have. It worked a while ago, last time I tried it, but now it is not. And I have no idea why. I really don't want to use robot voices for it. Robot voices are pretty good, but they have no emotion whatsoever and for some parts of the series I need emotion.

And, Zulu. There are no young voices for Zulu, and I need someone to step up to the plate and try to be her. My sister cannot do it because of this catastraphe and I need her voice pretty soon.

If not...then I dunno what I am gonna do.

I think I might fit her, but we don't have a microphone, and even if we did I'd have no idea how to download it.

Maybe we could hold auditions for people outside of Zanzira? Like, post a video on YouTube looking for voices? And we could add something about the videos on our ad. Surely we'll get something.

And Mumbleh, you have great connections on the forums! Can't you post a little ad or announcement or something?

And all of us on Howrse could post an announcement on our pages!

And if we don't get anything, so what? Silent movies aren't that bad (I'd rather have that than robot voices).

We could do subtiles or background music like the old movies in the 20's. It could be in colour, but I was watching family guy. I knida got the idea from that.

AND OUT OF DISASTER COMES...

Guess what?!? I just bought the spirit cd! So I have Here I Am, Brothers Under the Sun, and lots of other music. I also managed to find one of my favorite music CDs which I thought I had lost to the jaws of time. I also found a computer game, which I love the music to that we might be able to use for the series, and installed it to my compy.

So now we have a bit more music, but I'm still looking for some.

Oh, I found like three whole CDs full of sound effects as well, like laughing, tiger roars, wolf howls, you name it!

So, if my microphone would decide to work again we would be set!

I JUST HAD AN IDEA!!!

My keyboard (piano keyboard) has like a dozen sound effects on it! Like rushing water, horse hooves running, a horse whinnying, and different animal noises! So I could record them with my microphone! Also, I have Horsez 2 (it has a track on it that sounds like triumph, very coming out of the gloom-y), Zoo Tycoon 2 (tiger noises, wolf barks, howls, any wild animal noise), and Petz 5 (yappy little barks and meows, good for cubs or pups) for PC. I could rip some of the sound effects from there too!

And....

I could play piano for the series. I'm pretty good, if I do say so myself, and I know a buncha classical stuff. And, instead of having to take Like A Star, I could play Beautiful Dreamer for that scene with Noona singing to Zulu.

And...

Imageshack now has file transfer. So you're welcome to my iTunes library (I have over 1200 songs on my desktop alone) and recorded TV (I record different things from TV on my desktop, including documentaries) and things.

I might just get to use my microphone for this!

*Bounces Around Happily, Knowing She Might Be Able To Help A Bit* I have two things to say.

1; I have a Youtube account.
2; I have a game called Catz 2. It has a lot of music with a sort of feeling to it (Every map has a different background). Bubble Cave or Crystal Caverns would go well with a scene where Eliza is in the cave if we have that. Lonesome Park's music could be used for a gloomy scene where all hope seems to have been lost; it's very sad and gloomy. I can think of a lot of map backgrounds that would go awesomishly with scenes from Sonofar. It's perfect. Monolith Isle's music also would be good for the scene where the Monstrous Ones are attacking Yan Forest at night, stalking them and waiting for the chance to strike; it had eternal night, cast by Ivlet, before you find an item to stop that, and apparently, the music stuck even after I found that. If there's a scene with a cold area, Polar Fields would go pretty well.

EDIT;; forgot to mention, none of the music has words, it just has a 'feel' to it.

EDIT (again);; here's a list of how I'd describe the music in Catz 2 for each map.
Monolith Isle; nightsy, and very creepy, with owl sounds and the like.
Bubble Cave;; drippy cave sounds with the hint of bubbles popping. XD
Crystal Caverns;; a lot like Bubble Cave, but without the bubbles.
Polar Fields;; very light and slow, like the tapping of a triangle, perfect for icefeilds.
Jade Fields;; extremely serene, good for a meadow area.
Lonesome Park;; gloomy to an extreme degree, hopeless-like, lonely.
Gongoro Peak;; sort of happy and light, adventurous almost.
Inferno Cave;; primitive with fire crackling, I don't think we should use it.
Sky Heights;; dreamy, VERY dreamy, and sort of delicate.

I could help... if you still need it. I have a mic that's pretty good for recording sounds. (At least, it seems to work fine with my trombone).

PS: How odd that none of my chars are included. Yet I'm volunteering for this...

Mumbleh and SW and WH. We have to be VERY careful with copyright. But still, I will have some songs to donate. I must resist not to put any songs from the 70's.

I am also getting a tablet! In a month's time! Just about the time I get my new laptop! Pure YESHNESS! I'll get the music today!

But... I am still VERY unsure if I can donate my voice. It's not very good ethier. It very squeaky. I'll see if I can provide some voices. I have a library (on my computer) of voices saying "WHAT!!!" and screaming. They would make it very funny. Yet, they are mostly male voices (another downside...).

EDIT// I can still donate my art, but it will be extremely slow to do and hard to work with. For example, my character (who isn't finished) that I have drawn here isn't what you'll do in paint.

PC: Well, my memory has problems. If I could remember any of your characters they would be included. Mind to jog my louzy memory? Because I can't remember anything for the life of me.

I really need voices though, so.

TG: Well, the soundeffects from the CD are meant to be used to this kind of thing. And, I could put in a disclaimer at the end saying NONE of this music and stuff is mine we just used it for the background, but the voices and animations are ours. Does that make any sense? Do ya think it will fix it?

I need male voices too, so that doesn't matter. We have Silver and Tauri to have who are male, so. And Beowulf, don't forget him.

SW: I'm so stupid. I have ZT2 as well, and I totally forgot about the sound effects. Problem though, I went into the files last night and the only sounds I was able to acess where the DD sounds. But, they are pretty good too, they have some forest sounds and things I may be able to use. But I need roars and growls, tiger roars or lion roars. Or, your going to be hearing the same roar from the sound effects CD over and over and over...

I am more than willing to lend a voice but you guys must coach me through doing it since I have no idea how,

No, I don't think I do. I had one from the 90's with my old computer but I haven't seen it for at least six years. Outdated. x_x

How much do they cost?

I found one that was even older, doesn't work though :[. It doesn't matter ethier way because my computer has no sound, at all.

I have to experiment to make sure I can record voices, but anyways, I'm in.

As for characters, the only ones of mine that I remember are Spartacus (Emerald Valley leader), Calista (Dolphin Beach), and Mariana Volcani (Shenshi Lake). I know I had more, but their names are forgotten.
