Melody pranced about the field, she was here a few days ago when she met those interesting cat creatures. She smiled as the sun light fell on her pelt, it was small but comforting. She pranced about huming a tune unfamiliar to most, in her mind she chanted Yesterday is history, tommoro is a mystery, today is a gift that is why we call it the present. She stoped humming Mama tought me that, why did she leave. Was it something I did? Maby she had to leave to do something important, what . . What if she is in trouble and needs me!. Her mind reeled on with such thoughts. She sniffled abit, suddenly the comfort of the sun dissapper. She looked up to she a dark grey cloud covering it, infact the whole sky was engulfed in dark irksome clouds.
A long belowing rumble came from the clouds, and a small drop od rain landed on Melody's nose. She shook her head, giggling 'cause it tickled. More and more raindrops started to fall. She pranced around letting herself get wet. She winnied in pleasure when all of a sudden a crack thunder boomed in the sky. Automaticly Melody bolted, dashing as fast as she could she wasn't watching were she was running to. Soon she was in a dark dense forest, she stopped running and walked. The storm raged on, she shivered everytime the thunder boomed.
She was dripping wet, her main of feathers stuck to her neck. As she walk on she looked for shelter, out of pure luck she did find a larg cave. It though didn't seem natural for this kind of land scape. Reluctantly she entered.

Sinder was cold, alone, and lost. She was still searching for her family, but was so lost that she had wandered into the Socialization grounds. Her scales were soaked, and raindrops were starting to slip through them. Her tail drooped, sodden with wet.
A cave loomed ahead of the young Drayagon child, looking gloomy and uninviting to her. Sinder then felt a fierce pain in her back foot. Sitting down and raising it to take a look at the thorn sunk deeply into her skin, Sinder did the only thing she could do.
She cried.

Melody head jerk up at the sound of a cry. Startled ,she went back to the enterance and peeked out to see a scaly thing. She was unsure what to do, it looke dangerous but it was in pain it seemed. Looking at a moment longer she decided always help those in need . She went out back into the ran and came infront of the scaley thing. "H-Hi I'm Melody, uou seem hurt, there's a cave over here what help?" It was blunt and sirect, of course she couldn't get anything else out of it.

Sniffing, Sinder licked her paw feebly. Only a little bit of the blood went away, and the bitter taste added to Sinder's sadness. She limped towards the cave only to collapse in pain.
"Is Yellow Sands within reach?" she asked quietly and painfully.

Melody's fear vanished without her notice. The other creature didn't seem threataning at all. "Umm, what's Yellow Sands?" She felt like she should've know but she wasn't ever tought about the other kind of horses, cat, wolfs, and places of Zanzire. Feebly she shifted her feet. For the first time in her life she felt usless, she wanted to help so bad but didn't know how.
"I'm sorry I-I . ." Losing her use of words, she fumbled with her mouth. Then a question that she thought nothing could go wrong with poped into her head," My name is Melody, what's yours?" It was a bad question for the time but what else could she say.

"Sinder." She paused to cough and wheeze. "My family roams Yellow Sands and has been doing so for countless seasons, starting with my great grandfather, Beowulf, whom claimed the land. It is a beautiful shoreland- the center is a perilous jungle, and in the middle of that is a waterhole where Beowulf set up camp." She was making herself cry even harder because of the vivid description.
Memories of Beowulf, of her mother, of all the Monstrous Ones of Yellow Sands, flooded her mind. She loved them all so dearly. She needed to get there, to find the remainders of her family. To heal and to gain rank in the society of the herd. She was dying without them. If Sinder didn't find her home, she would have no purpose, and she would let herself die because she'd lost everything.

Melody listened to the distcription, Sinder was homesick. She could relate, Melody had left home in search of her mom and now, she kinda wished she just stayed home. She then shook her head No mother is probably home sick too! and she needs to be guided home! . She raised her head in dignity, almost like she'd just achieved a great triumph. She'd forgotten that Sinder was there, quickly she lowered her head. This wasn't of course that first time she'd gotten into a conversation with herself infront of some body.
She cleared her throught when a larg boom erupted in the sky. It wasn't thunder it was something else. Melody crained her neck up to look into the sky, the rain was now only a drizzle, and sprinkled her face as she looked up. Also the sky had tuned darke red almost and eerie clouds swirled around viciously. Suddenly a bright thing broke through the clouds. It looked like a shooting star falling to Zanzira. It was a ways off but as soon as it reached the ground the impacted caused the ground underneth their feet to tremble.
"i-is that a star?" she asked feebly she looked around some more to find that the 'stars' were falling everywere, the trembling ground grew to be more consistant.
