Misha's hoofs slowly clipped the hard earth that she ran from her parents, she was finally after many weeks of travelling here. She did not the way, but somehow she did.. a miracle perhaps. Misha doubted it. The sun rose from the horizan and her blue scales sparkled. Despite being 'safe' she had a eerie feeling that one of her family had come to try to kill her of dishonoring the family. She didn't give about family traditions but now she was free. Shaking her dragon head and tail, she circled and laid down for someone close. So she was safe.

Skulni stretched his muscular legs. They made him look stocky and slow, but he didn't care. Upon introspection, he had learned that being underestimated was an advantage he could not afford to lose. Almost without realizing it, he stumbled upon the mate finding grounds. Disoriented, he looked up from his hooves to see a blue drayagoness resting a short distance away. "Hello?" He called, cautiously.

The sudden appoarch of the male made her struggle to get up. Her preghant belly swaded, and she eyed him. "You better not be of the Macchini herd. If you are.. stay away!" She realised this was not of her pervious herd. She slowly trotted towards him. "I'm sorry; I'm on the run from my family, they are trying to track me down. My name's Misha.. Mish for short. She swayed her head around. Gazing into his eyes; fear sparked within. "I need someone to look after me and my foal. She felt like she was rushing things; but being scared, not to mention on death row she didn't care.

For a moment, Skulni was taken aback. "Easy there. I was born of the old Zauber Clan. My name's Skulni." He turned so that the mare could not see his bad eye and so he could study her with his good one. He recognized the very real fear that reflected in her gorgeous eyes. "I have a land of my own," he said, "but it is rather empty. I think you could give birth in relative safety there." Though he was pretty much alone in Yellow Sands, he was pretty sure the terra had escaped most notice. "Are you still interested?" He inquired.

Her breathing came slow, and she lowered her head. Yes please, exuse my preghanties; the foal will not know his father. She examined him once more; she did not notice his bad eye. She wanted to get way; from the grounds. She knew she was in the Mate finding grounds, but she still shivered. When a bird flew from a tree; she turned around and watched in wait. Her pupils widened and she turned back. "May we leave as soon as possible."She clipped her hooves and waited for him to lead the way.

"Of course." Skulni led her along the path he had absentmindedly followed before. He knew that it lead directly to the ford between Yellow Sands and the Commons. He took an easy pace, noting that the mare seemed hindered by her burden. "This way, Misha. This trail leads to my home."
