Title: Elegant Touch
Description: ~Or So YOU Think~

Elegance was currently trying to find food. She hadn't eaten since her encounter with that obnoxious Transformer, and she'd stolen some of her catch so the Shard hadn't gotten to eat all of the elk. She'd spent most of her time resting or trying to find a burrow or den where she could take residence; no Ice cat males had claimed any lands yet, so she couldn't find a place to fully consider her own-- at least that was large.
Now, food was on her mind. Her mouth was open slightly, letting the scents flow into the glands on the roof of her mouth. Elegance caught a few scents; horse scents overlapping to the north, a coyote trotting off to the west, a mouse family to the east, and a river full with fish to the south. She picked the last; though she wasn't good at fishing, mice would not fulfill her, coyotes were much too quick unless she had bait, and no cat would think once about killing horses.
Elegance trotted in its direction, heavy pelt glistening in the sunlight. The heat made her very uncomfortable, and fishing would both fulfill her hunger and help her cool off.

Aqua looked around. Ths wolf goddess was severly bored. No males had claimed lands. And no pups had been born. This left her with nothing to do. So, in pure bored wolf fashion, she walked the socialization grounds, hoping to come upon a friendly wolf. Her fur glimmered and shimmered in the light, and she looked like she was more snow than wolf. She twinkled and shone as she waltzed about.
Then, she saw a cat walking ever closer to a river. She approached her. "Good day, Miss," she said, talking with her usual formality. "I am Aqua, goddess of the wolves. May I ask what your name is?" She dipped her head in respect and her blue eyes shone with curiosity and friendliness, like she wasn't a goddess but a normal wolf.
Her wingtips twitched and she smiled a wolf smile at the stranger. Her thoughts didn't reach any farther than this oppotunity to find a friend and meet some of the animals from the other alliances.

Pele was bored. She had heard that there was a hippocampus stallion, but she hadn't seen him, at least not near her. Pele slipped from the Claiming Grounds into the Social Grounds.
The heat here was just as bad as in where she'd come from. The river looked like a good source of relief. Never mind the wolf and the catshe told herself, by the laws of the Core, they cannot harm me. Even so, the hippocampus was cautious as she approached the river. She waded into the flowing water downstream from the fishing predator so as to not frighten away any fish. She eyed the approaching wolf with trepidation, but did not run.

Round and round and round and round and round...
Rasp was enjoying himself a lot... okay maybe a little to much. But then again, when you had your tail in your mouth and you where going in circles, how could you not enjoy yourself? That was exactly what he was doing. He had been chasing his tail, but he had caught it, so now all the joy was in going around and around. Rasp fell over with sheer dizzyness, and giggled with delight. Everything was spinning, but he didn't care. No, it had been fun. He tried to sit up but flopped to the side and so he layed there for a moment, catching his breath and giggling between gasps of fall air. The wind blew over his tan colored fur before chocolate colored paws pushed him up into a stand. He looked around himself for a moment with bright green eyes, before standing up and setting off across the plains as though nothing had happened at all.
Oh goodness, winter was coming. What would he do with no pack? Well, he would manage, he had before. Curl up somewhere that was warm, maybe in the outskirts of the Fire lands. Yep, he would have to do that. He had no itention of owning or belonging to a pack. He was a free spirit, and shouldn't be placed in a cage of territorial boundries.
It was when he reached the top of a hill when he saw the small group of animals near the river. He gave a great big grin of happiness and galloped down the slope as fast as his legs could go...but that was a mistake. Of course he went way to fast, and he began to stumble down the slope. He misstepped and went head over heels down the slope. He whined and bounced on the way down, and landed in the stream, between the animals. Rasp layed there for a moment, spralled out and with the world spinning around him faster than it had been when he had been chasing his tail.
Well, that had hurt.

At the loud splash, Pele jumped. Turning, she saw the source of the sound. It was a wind wolf... of some kind. The other wolf seemed surprised and the cat looked angry. Pele surmised that the intense sound had frighted off all of the fish. "Watch where you're going, fangs." the hippocampus sneered.
She walked past him towards the other wolf and the cat. She thought of catching a fish as a peace offering, but decided against it. There was no telling how the ice cat would react. "Hello. I am called Pele."she said at last.

"I am known as Elegance." The Shard said, whipping her tail about. She glared furiously at Rasp; now she'd have to move to somewhere else on the river. She flicked her tail at them to show her direction and started at a steady pace.
When she was some way off, she looked at the river in satisfaction. The fish here hadn't heard. She whipped her tail into the water to use the sharp spike as a spear.

Aqua looked at Pele. "Hello, I am Aqua, goddess of the wolves," she dipped her head in respect to the hippocampus and made sure to keep her canines hidden from her. But, still, she smiled as politely as she could manage without making herself look like a goofball.
Then she saw the wolf in the river and Elegance slipping off to another part of the river. Not wanting the poor creature to be left behind, but not wanting to be left herself, she quietly signaled with her wingtip for Rasp to follow her. But, she made sure to close her wolf lips tight together, signaling for him to be quiet and not go into the river.
Aqua looked at the other wolf one last time, dipped her head in a polite greeting to him, and hurried off to rejoin the others. She caught up just as Elegance dipped her tail into the water. She sat down gracefully, blinked her clear blue eyes, and hoped that conversation would begin soon. She hated awkward pauses and didn't like to just stare at another animal.

A fish soon made its last mistake; swimming very close to the spike. It felt the ripples in the water made by the fish, and in one swipe, it was killed; the spike peirced straight through its middle.
Elegance pulled her tail out of the water to admire her catch. It was a large trout; about as long as her head.
"Want it?" She offered to Aqua.
