Kasanita walked slowy into the mate finding grounds. She knew there would be someone out there for her.. but who. Her tail flame glowed in the sight of the bare place. There a few females, misfits waited for their perfect mate. How she wanted to settle down and have cubs. She thought of the clumsy paws slipping down the den. That made her long for a mate even more. *sigh*. She would have to wait for someone of fire..

Aegni walked to the mate lands. He desired a female worthy of the queenship. He saw the jaguaress prowling the area. He would have recognized her as a fire cat even if her flame hadn't glowed brightly in the sunlight. He walked over to her.
"Hello," he said to her, "My name is Aegni of Phoenix Mountain." Smooth move, Aegni he thought. Even so, he felt a thrill of fate, similar to the one he had felt after the encounter with the god on the volcano. She may be the one.

Uhh.. Hi, I'm Kasanita! Where did he come from? HEAVEN! She was startled by his appearence, but was relieved, she didn't have to waste away in this place. Man it was cold. She longed for somewhere warm, and this place.. the sooner the better. but socilizing took her mind of her chill. Her blue flame died down as she gazed into his eyes.

Aegni noticed that Kasanita looked chilled. He reached out to her with his flames, attempting to drive away the cold. "We should go somewhere warm."He murmured to her as he looked into her dark eyes. "Kasanita, my home is on a volcano. It's very comfortable there. Shall we go?" He knew that he, too, was uncomfortable in this place, cold with misery and hopelessness.

Oh yes, shall we contiune to talk there? she quested as her deep amber eyes gazed at him. His burst of flames made her feel warmer but it was still cold. She had spent too long in this 'normal' wind. She shivered a little but got up to walk with Aegeni. She felt warm beside him, both in and out. Maybe love was in her air..

Aegni smiled. "Yes, we shall go. I must tell you, though, you won't be alone there. I have adopted a cub who I found at the claiming grounds. Is that alright?" He hoped that she wouldn't take offense. It was a cub, after all.

Ok then.. please lead the way for the real truth she did not want to have another cub that wsn't her own around but she'll have to deal with it. She had a mate afterall and she would become queen... perhaps...
