Skittle walked into a nice cave he'd found and gestured towards the coziest nest he'd made with his wing. He nodded, indicating that the gryphon with her was welcome to use it. He knew she had kits on the way, and needed the best nest possible.
"Well, it's not the best place to live, but better than nothing." He meowed, settling himself in his own nest.

Medina followed Skittle to the cave. Accepting his offer of the nest, she walked past him into the cave. She lay down with a sigh. "Thank you, Skittle. I... think... I think that I should rest now. She could feel the stirring of new life within her. "Please... leave me for a little while." Medina looked up at him.

"Yes, of course. I will go off and hunt." Skittle meowed with understanding. He stood up and prowled off to find something to eat.
The gryphon sprinted at a steady pace, snatching a lizard or mouse when he saw one. All were too frightened by his strange appearance, and were frozen in horror before being eaten.
Now, being satisfied with his own hunger, he slunk about to find something for Medina.

Medina watched as Skittle disappeared through the tall grass. She turned away once he was out of sight. Taking a deep breath, she stood up and moved deeper into the cave. When she reached the back of the cave, she fell onto a flat stone bathed in sunlight from a hole in the ceiling. She knew that her time had come...
---Time Passes---
An hour after Skittle had departed to give her privacy, Medina was proudly grooming three new cubs, their downy feathers and closed eye advertising their helplessness. She waited for the roadrunner gryphon to return.

I hear... I hear the sound of new life. These grasslands; I had come before when that male hd claimed his land. Cubs already?, was the question, but I dare not ask of which and why. As I scent the cubs, I head towards a cave. I have come to bless the cubs of Medina, may I come in for I am Akila goddess of the cats. I knew there would be many cubs. The sight of one made me feel happy and joyful.

Just after Akila finished what she said, Skittle skidded into the den with a mouse held firmly in his beak. He would have stumbled onto the floor had not it been for his back claws, which hooked into the ground and held him fast. The hippogryph panted for a moment; then he saw the three bundles at Medina's side.
"Medina-- are you alright?" he asked worriedly, nudging his kill towards her. His tailfeathers stuck straight up in alarm; Skittle had not known that she'd give birth so recently after being claimed. He jumped into his nest, quivering madly before settling in properly. Then he noticed Akila, and beckoned towards a spare nest near enough to Medina so that the goddess could bless her cubs. The nest would be used after a claimed female chose so.
"Please, a goddess deserves superb hospitality. Do sit down," he asked, respect and sincerity in his soft brown eyes.

Medina nodded at both the king and the Goddess as they drew near. She admired the cubs. Two males, one strong, with coloring that seemed a mix between hers and Jafar's; the other weaker, but showing the same spirited fight for life, making him worthy of her mate's coloring and plumage. The third cub was a female, similar in coloring to her mother except for her tawny fur. She thought of the three names that had presented themselves in dreams: Draco for the stronger male, Loki for the weaker one, and Ti'ana for the female.
"My cubs and I are ready." She murmured to Akila.

These cubs were so beautiful. May I know of thier names first I said calmy. Here infront of me where three beautiful cubs. I decided to accept the male hospitality. I site firmly on a rock and watch the cubs. The contiune to suckle. Such wonder. If her mate was here I'm sure he would be proud too.

Medina nodded again. "The dark son is Loki, the other is Draco, and my daughter is Ti'ana." She nuzzled Loki gently as he pressed closer to her for warmth. O Jafar, if only you knew about your fine sons and daughter, she thought. A warm breath of wind seemed to come through the sun hole. It reminded her of her mate's gentle touch when he was pleased.

Loki, though small, your heart is loving and you are fast at thinking I smoothly said with a my eyes closing in relaxment. Draco, though stubborn at times you will be brave and strong, and finally Ti'ana, your skills at hunting will put your brothers in awe, you will be intelligent also. I lick each of the cubs. Have my word Medina, each one of your cubs will impress you. I stand, bow and leave. I will watch from the heavens as each one of them grows. I tunr and sit and bow respectfully and flap into the heavens. I soar above and flutter into the distance.
