Description: ~*Flutters* *Falls To Face* OUCH!~

Saqui was walking along, trying to find a steep slope. When she finally did, she was a little tired, but determination fueled the young hippogryph. She was out and about, and trying to fly.
Saqui was thoroughly confused. She had made several attempts to fly, but it was as if her wings were wet. Her weight was fine; Sacnite was slightly heavier than her and could fly perfectly. She knew it wasn't age; surely hippogryphs weren't THAT similar to birds!
The young hippogryph climbed until she was on top of a ledge. She then spread her wings, about to jump off flapping her wings.

Tarla flipped about the air, it was a fresh day and this week had gone so well for her. She closed her eyes and let her self fly not nowing were she was going. She was oblivious that she was about to hit a tree. She slowly opened her eyes to suddly see a tree trunk a few feet from her. Shock jerked through her body when she suddenly turned left barly avoiding the tree. Losing control after the abrupt turn she skidding across the ground. She cursed her lack of attention, but also thanked the star herd for her luck.
She looked around, she had landed in the social grounds, o well. She got up and looked around and spotted a hypgryph, she though was smaller than herself. She eyeballed momentarily noticing that she was part of herd, she remembered seeing her but they never had really met. what on earth is she doing then she noticed her rapid flapping of the wings, O she's trying to fly she remeberd when she had to learn. She had to teach herself because she was raised by felins and they couldn't help her much. It was a fun experiance, and man she felt so happy when she finaly learned, it is probably the biggest accomplisment in her life.
She then noticed her on the ledge , uh oh maby she sould stop her befor she did something that could hurt her. She walked up the the hypogryph smiling. "Hi" she said so she would get her attention.

Saqui heard the greeting right after jumping off with her wings flapping so hard you'd think she was doing it for her own life. This, however, was to little avail; she fell down like she was just a regular horse, and tumbled head over feet-- right in front of Tarla.
Slowly, Saqui lifted her head from the ground. She groaned; the pain was aching over her entire body, and judging by the cliff's height, she was lucky not to have broken a bone.
"Hi," she muttered dizzily before lowering her head down again.

What the? can the question from TigerDreaming's lips as she stared into the sky as something that looked like a bird, but was much bigger than a bird swooped fast, with it's eyes closed.
That would be.. what seems to be a hippogryph TigerClaw chuckled in TigerDreaming's mind, both of them watching it. Much older than you.
I'm sure glad I don't have wings TigerDreaming muttered, the bird was flying but it looked like she was heading for a tree, confusing TigerDreaming. The sun hit her eyes and she quickly covered them with her paw.
You'll be envious of flyers, like Tauri; he was a fantasic flyer TigerClaw protested back; she was right. No doubt it. TigerDreaming rolled her eyes.
Well, not her flying skills... Who's Tauri? TigerDreaing curiously asked her guardian, she hadn't heard the stories of TigerClaw's earlier life.
I'll tell you later... mean while I think that hippogryph might land. TigerClaw replyed to her relative's question. And it did.
lil'eagle - November 18, 2007 01:49 AM (GMT)
Tarla oblivously was to late to tell her jumping of a cliff wasn't the most, efficent, way to fly. " I'm Tarla, I do belive you live in the Yan forest too," she looked at her reaction," You took quite a fall ,are you alright?" she looked over the hypogryph seeing she didn't have any injuries she could see.
Silverstreak - November 18, 2007 01:54 AM (GMT)
"I think so," muttered Saqui, trying to get up. "Yeah, I'm from Yan Forest. I'm Saqui. Nice to meet you."
Her webbed feet were now bleeding. A few feathers had also been lost. Generally, Saqui wanted to curl up in her nice, cozy nest and sleep until The Core ate her alive.
TigerGirl - November 18, 2007 01:57 AM (GMT)
Go up to them
Why?
Just go
TigerClaw wanted her last relative to have as much protection as possible. She hadn't realised she was in no danger. She was a little protective and needed to stop worrying for once. TigerDreaming slowly padded towards the two hippogryphs.
Hiya.. erm I'm TigerDreaming, what's your name TigerDreaming squeaked.
Doing well Tiger... her guardian wispered in her mind.
lil'eagle - November 18, 2007 02:10 AM (GMT)
Tarla looked at the felin her eyes meet the other, she felt somehow she knew her. She though had never every met this felin befor in her life. She blinked and ignored her feeling ," I'm Tarla of the Yan Forest." She smiled and looked into the sky and saw yer anothe Hypogryph flying torwards them. Benture, was really high in the air. He loked down to see a small group at the social grounds. He lowered himself to see his sister and another hypogryph whom he knew was part of the Yan forest herd. He swoop down and made a magnificant landing. "Hi Tarla," he looked around benevolantly. Tarla smiled at seeing her twin brother ," this is my brother Benture."

I seemed to awake from a dream.
Everything was fading to its normal colors.
Fading from bright red to normal.
But I did not see the stallion.
At first.
But then I found him, and had to keep myself from gagging.
There he was, torn apart, his face stretched in his last dying scream.
Blood was everwhere. Everywhere.
What creature could have done that?
What horrible creature could have done that?
Looking down at myself I saw shining thick liquid on me.
I was covered in red blood.
I was the horrible creature.
I killed him.
___________
Her belly rumbled loudly, hungrily. She snorted softly into the air. In spring there was prey. Plenty of prey. Lots of little things to pick off. Shishenti walked forewards, her jaguar tail swishing back and forth rythmically with the swaying of her hips. Her paws made no sound on the lush green grass she walked on.
It was the soft pounding of feet that caught her attention. Her ears flicked towards where the sound had come from, and she paused. The sound was fading into the distance. She could not smell it, whatever it was it was down wind. She gave a growl of displeasure, and stood rooted to he spot, torn betweeen hunger and following the instinct that told her to follow nothing she could not smeel. Hunger won. She turned and trotted after the sound fading into the distance. She bounded across the soft ground, trying to catch sight of the creature yet stay far enough away that she would not be spotted. She wished she was in a forest, not a open feild. A forest where she would have cover. Or prehaps darkness. This whole blue sky thing did not bode well for her.
When she reached the top of a perticulary high hill, she saw what was making all the racket. A hippogryph. She was young-Shishenti glanced around nervously, hoping her mother wasn't nearby-and she was trying to teach herself to fly? She shook her head at this strange idea. Who had heard of such a odd occurance? Now the foolish young thing was going to leap off a edge and kill herself! She bit her lip, and kept herself from screaming a warning at the young creature. Another hippogryph-a adult one- soared down suddenly from overhead, making her jump, just as the young one jumped off of the ledge. She tumbled downwards, but leapt to her feet seeming unhurt. Now they where talking? Shishenti stared in amazement at the odd half bird half horse beasts.
A small movement caught her attention. Her head jerked to the side, and she saw a young felin moving towards them. What was this, some sort of rebel party gathering? Then ANOTHER hippogrph landed on the earth. He just seemed to come out of no where, swooping out of the sky and landing beside the female one. Now they where all talking. What was this?
Shishenti tossed her head. She wanted to see what this was about. She took off across the ground at a gallop and came skidding to a halt about twenty feet from the small party of half and halfs. "Might I ask what you are all up to?" Her gruff and commanding voice rung out across the small group.
Silverstreak - November 19, 2007 01:36 AM (GMT)
Saqui tried to drag herself away, but pain overtook her. The felins startled her; though they were all half horse, she had heard of a disease that felins got that made them kill anything and everything in their path. The young hippogrpyh was especially startled by Shishenti; she was fully-grown, and almost towered over her.
Saqui looked absolutely terrified. She wanted to flutter away into her nest, but she could not fly and could not move. She almost said "Just eat me now, just don't torture me!" but stopped herself.
TigerGirl - November 19, 2007 03:52 AM (GMT)
For now; TigerDreaming had noticed that TigerClaw had been silent. She saw that Saqui was scared and she sat beside her. I'm not going to hurt you. she half wispered. TigerDreaming looked at the other felin who was overtowering her. Wow... When she had discovered TigerClaw (or TigerClaw discovered her) she had been much bigger. Still TigerClaw was a ghost like being, not a felin that could eat you whole. Um... hi? I'm TigerDr..eaming she squeaked at the felin. She looked wild. Very wild... At first TigerDreaming was scared, but she was sure that no harm would come to her. She stood up agian on her stumpy legs, her hair of her tail flapping with the wind. She had forgetton to reply to Tarla and Benture, but she was too busy looking at the other felin. Besides her mother and TigerClaw; she hadn't seen one recently. What..'s your..name? she spoke in a feebish way.
Neshshenti? came a voice in her mind. More memories from the old book that was sealed in her mind. Don't.. say anything TigerClaw; when my mouth opens..
Is that you? came TigerClaw's voice from her. Suddenly she had an idea You reminded me of someone... Don't do that again... she snapped in her mind. TigerClaw sat there in silence with her...

OOC: Thanks.
They seemed startled by her prescense. She saw fear in their eyes. Her neck bent and she lowered her head slightly. Her purple eyes, with the cat-like slits, flickered over the small group. She was large, 16.7 hands tall at the shoulder. Her coat was black, but since the sun was shining on her coat you could see the rosettes on her inky pelt. They shimmered as she breathed. Her eyes definately had a wild untamed look, like she had not belonged to a herd in quite a while. The purple seemed to glow like the dying embers of a fire. She had a long jaguar tail in place of a horse one, and huge paws to replace hooves. Her ebony mane whipped around her head and neck. She must of looked scruffy. She had been traveling for weeks now, so her coat was frosted in mud, and sticks where tangled into her mane. The young hippogryph seemed very frightened of her, her and the other felin. She snorted softly, her ears flicking backwards. They had nothing to fear from her...nothing to fear from her yet anyway.
If she was yellow with black spots, golden eyes, and a white mane, she would have been Neshenti. She was built like her, muscled like her, and moved like her. Shishenti didn't care much for her ancestor. In fact, she saw Neshenti as a horrible contaminated creature. Why, why did Neshenti have kids? Why did she have to pass along a curse? Why didn't she just die, rot away and die so that her family wouldn't have to be bothered by fear, fear of killing a friend?
She snorted again, turning to the TigerDreaming as she introduced herself. Brave cub. The other young one hadn't bothered to tell her name. She wasn't going to eat them. Sure, she was hungry, but she wouldn't dream of eating horse. "I'm Shishenti," She said her name quickly, and she said it with a bit of disgust. She carried Neshenti's name with her. Carried the name of a horse she hated with her everywhere.
And then the cub told her she reminded her of someone. A small flicker of shock washed over her face, but was quickly replaced by a glare. She was wondering though. How could a small cub like this possibly know she was descended from one of Zanzira's first inhabitants? "Do I?" She said, softly, "And who do I remind you of?" She hoped she wouldn't say the name. Then they all would know what she carried inside of her. A hate. A bloodlust. A rage that could not be controlled...
TigerGirl - November 22, 2007 03:58 AM (GMT)
TigerDreaming could not ammit she was scared. She was stubborn at times but this time she was thinking. She looked at the glare and shivered. Her muscles tensed but TigerClaw knew what was going on. Don't say her name... came the feared voice that echoed inside. TigerDreaming was much like Tigerclaw, but in a cubish verison. Well... I knew this... um felin that had the same.. Don't say it.... it was all too much for her. size.. my father... was a tiger... yes he was about as big as you... TigerDreaming knew nothing about her about her father expect he was part or whole tiger. Her mother had never talked about him.. until her death. Reminding of her fmaily a tear, a bitter tear rolled down her face. It stung as more ran down her face. She knew that telling her name would bring her bad thoughts.. a curse that never should had passed on. She stood there.. tears running down as she eyed the felin. You asked me... She walked of and climbed slowly up a tree that had a thick branch, maybe there she could vent.
I'm sorry..
There sat TigerDreaming in a tree with her last relative that could speak to her.
What happened to your father she sobbed
I'll never know... I'll never know...
Silverstreak - November 22, 2007 04:04 AM (GMT)
Saqui did not shift positions. She was still as scared as ever. The tiger felin; she'd appeared overwhelmed with deppression before dissapearing in the branches. She wasn't entirely afraid of the tiger one, but Shishenti still loomed over her.
Saqui shuffled her terribly scratched feet in the dirt, but this caused a sweep of sharp, bitter pain to erupt all over her small feathery body. She shivered over the pain, and only her frightful silence kept her from screaming "OW!" in agony. Saqui's bright blue eyes glittered with fear.
lil'eagle - November 23, 2007 08:55 PM (GMT)
Benture watched as Tiger Dreaming walked off. He eyeballed Shishenti her name, it sounds like Neshenti, probibly a descendant. Then he remembered about this thing called the rage, but if Neshenti and Tauri obliviously wasn't harmed this rage business couldn't be that bad. Of course Tauri was good friends with Neshenti, and they barely knew this Shishenti. Suddenly a sharp scream came from Saqui he looked over to see her eyes and how she was scared. Tarla though wasted no time in thinking, and as a natural reaction she went over to Saqui ," O my, look what that fall did to your feet." She observed thoughfully ," you're going to have to wash this dirt off them and badage it." She at all times kept Shishenti in the corner of her eye.
Wild Heart - November 23, 2007 10:37 PM (GMT)
It was obvious they didn't want her here. It was so darn obvious. She watched TigerDreaming, waiting for the name to come. But it didn't. The young felin said that she reminded her of her father. Shishenti breathed a small sigh of relief, and was very shocked to find that she had been holding her breath. The panther felin watched the cub leave. Her purple eyes followed her as she moved towards the trees and climbed it, sobbing the whole time. She had made TigerDreaming that upset. She gave a small frown, a small flash of confusion flitting onto her face. She lowered her head more, and gave another snort. This time she was mad at herself. Mad at herself for making the cub cry. She was the only one that had introduced herself so far. Her tail flicked with disatisfaction. No, no one wanted her anywhere.
She backed away from the group slowly. "I guess...I guess we will see each other again sometime soon..." The firey eyes turned to each horse in turn- to TigerDreaming from her perch in the tree last- and then she turned away. She walked quickly away, her eyes fixed on her paws. And then she took off at a run. Her head shot up and her back paws fired her forewards and she ran up the hill. Then she was gone.
TigerGirl - November 23, 2007 11:08 PM (GMT)
TigerDreaming hopped down from the tree and deciede to leave the place. She didn't wanted to be remined of her father. When was he when her mother died... but did her father kill her? No.. she shook it out of her head.
What did your mother tell of your father.
He was chesnut, like me; he was brave and strong and died for my mother.
I'm so sorry for you.
I never saw him again, maybe he was hiding from me in starherd.
Come on, we need to find somewhere for the night.. TigerClaw interuppted herself.
lil'eagle - November 24, 2007 01:58 AM (GMT)
Tarla heard what Shishenti said she then quickly looked up to see her run off. She didn't mean to somehow offend her. She felt bad but she couldn't stop her from running. Maby they would meet again. Benture on the other hand just sighed ,"Tarla I belive we should go home, Sequi would you like to come with us?"
