Title: Accepting a new wolf

Okamidaio found a nice place to sit, up on a high-ish rock. He looked over to thw new wolf. "I, Okamidaio of Cloud Forest, welcome you to my pack." He howled, letting the world know.

[[is that right?]]

Hearing Okamidaio's howl, Zipporah felt an immense joy within her spirit. It was released in a long, full howl, an alto voice joining the masculine baritone of the alpha. The trees shuddered as a warm west wind ruffled the leaves on the trees and the fur of the wind-benders.

The mist concealing the terrain lifted and Zipporah received her first clear sighting of Cloud Forest. A stream trickled through the rich green of the towering pines. A few standing aspen groves announced their presence with a rattling melody played by the perpetual breeze.

(ooc: if my descriptions are annoying, just tell me. I'm feeling poetic right now.)

[[no worries~ it's fine.]]

"You feel at home yet?" He questioned. "The first member of this pack. I promise that I will protect, and keep you safe until the day a new alpha comes to this forest. and... by the way. Feel free to call me Okami or Daio."

He dipped his head slightly, showing the gladness, and thanks of her move to wind territory.

"Thank you, Okami. You honor me as well as my father." Zipporah turned, scenting a hare in the brush just upwind of them. "Let's catch ourselves a meal. I'm hungry! She nodded toward the brush.

"As you wish!" He stalked through thin grass and pounced, hitting a rabbit. "Would you like some? Or would you like to prove your hunting skills?" He questioned.

PastCat - November 18, 2007 02:48 AM (GMT)
"Oh, no. I can hunt well enough on my own." Zipporah pulled her form close to the ground. She tensed, then sprang at a particularly plump rabbit. The large hare fell with ease. Zipporah bit into the succulent meat. It was surprisingly rich and sweet to the taste. "This is the most flavorful rabbit I have ever had!" She shivered with happiness.

"Very well then." His gaze met the skies. "We must find more warriors..." His voice trailed.

Sniffing the rabbit he'd just caught he bite.
