Aegni grunted as he climbed toward the peak of Phoenix Mountain. The forest on the mountain's flanks was lush and green and rich with prey. Soon he reached the place where the dense rainforest gave way to midnight-black volcanic stone. A short distance above him, dark smoke poured out from the peak. Aegni halted at a place where he could see the entire territory, but was out of reach from the harmful effects of the volcanic smoke.
"This terra, willed to me by fate. May all who live here prosper from my Kingship. I hearby vow to defend this land of beauty and power with my life if need be. I, Aegni, willdefend all cats who will thrive here in the future."
Aegni walked toward where he had seen a hot spring gushing out of a fissure. Taking a long drink, he sighed with the satisfaction of having a homeland at last.
Ayo out of nowere appereed only a few feet from Aegni. He stood tall and full of dignity yet he appered kindly. His mane danced, for the warmth of this land felt good he hasn't been to a fire land for a long time. He though got down to business and spoke authoritivly," I'm Ayo , god of the cats. Do you Aegni promise on Zanzira's name on the claim you just made?" His eyes stared awwaiting his answere. He already though had a pretty good guess on what it was going to be.
Looking toward the God of Cats, Aegni stood calmly before him. By my motherland's name, I hereby promise so to do." The jaguar's flame burst from his shoulders and neck, giving him a halo-like appearance. They danced with the colors of many feelings; blues, greens, reds and golds flamed up in apparent anticipation of the God's response.
Ayo nodded acceptantly ,"I hereby dub thee ruler of this land. May I not have to come back here for anything but the birth of cubs." Every flame on his body blow up and suddenly was engulfed with his own flames. Then him and his flames vanished as if he was never there.
