Zipporah sighed. The wind itself seemed to whisper in her ear her father's final words to her. Worry not, daughter, for I am rising to a place where I can do wonderful things to benefit all of our kind and the other kinds that be. Fare thee well. With those words of kindness, her father, Azul had ascended to the position of God of Wolves. Without his claim as her home, she had journeyed here, to the Claiming grounds. Quietly, she prayed to her father. Please let an alpha pure of heart and pure of mind become my protector. Zipporah lay down in the soft dewy grass to await a worthy champion.

Okamidaio's grey fur was plastered to his sides. He saw the wolf's fur, and scented the wolf's prescence. Standing tall, as he knew it would be bad to show signs of a lower rank. "Hello, I am Okamidaio. The Cloud forest alpha. If you would like to come back with me..." He faded off. "Oh... I'm sorry! I didn't let you introduce yourself." He appoligised then waited.

Zipporah looked up at Okamidaio. He looked intimidated, and unsure of what to do. She smiled at him. "That's okay. My name is Zipporah." she paused, thinking of what else to say to him. "I have never been to Cloud Forest. Is it beautiful?" she asked.

He sat down on his haunches. "Well... it's foresty. Actually, it's quite nice. Cool breezes come through and there's pleanty of trees. Rabbit's the main food source..." His voice had grown stronger, as he was more confedent then before.

Zipporah smiled again. Okamidaio seemed to be gaining inner strength as they talked. "It sounds like a wonderful place to live. I enjoy rabbits. They have such tender meat." She pictured a meal-sized treat waiting for her there.

Is this who you sent for me papa? she asked her father in her mind. Her question was answered as a breath of wind seemed to whisper to her: yes...yes...yes. Zipporah sighed happily. Azul was still watching over her. "I would love to come with you to your homeland." She said, answering Okamidaio's question.

Zipporah felt limp with relief. Finally, after all this time, I will again have a home. She stood up to follow Okamidaio. Before she left the claiming grounds, she whispered to the wind. "Thank you..."
