As Whitefang let off Saqui of her back; which had made it really sore and Brownfang had settled down. They were home. In a small clearing surrunded by trees expect for the small no tree gap. Welcome Home, everyone; this is our little safe place that we return to. There is plenty of places to sleep to to mention the tens of burrows that my brother and I dug out. Started Whitefang, proud as can be. What is ours is yours Brownfang ended.
"Thank you!" called Saqui as she stepped off Whitefang's back. She then dipped her head in thanks and wandered around the clearing, fiercely flapping her wings as she did so, and looking for materials she could use to create a nest.
She was only half concentrating on finding bedding, however. Saqui wanted to fly so much. She'd seen the birds soaring in the air, and each time had looked down in envy. She had wings, and she had just about everything needed to fly. How could being young stop her from gliding above the trees?
Tarla had been following them and noticed were they'd stop, she though landed on a branch. She managed to catch what they had said ," thank you so much." she looked around the towering trees. This place was a bird's paradise!
