DeathNote sniffed the air, Nothing, no wolves he thought. he padded around a bit and sniffed around some more. The shadowedness of the forest around a long flowing creek we nice, slightly cold, but nice.

A cool breeze ruffled his fur, not knowing what else to bo he howled, saying "This is my territoy, and I am alpha, and I vow to protect and welcome all you come here."

Yes, but from now on post the claiming topic in the board your claiming, so you would post this in Crow Hollow.

Aqua looked out across Crow Hollow. Her fur glistened and glimmered in the patchy light, brighter than a twinkling star. She blinked once and stepped forward towards DeathNote. She blinked at him and howled a clear howl into the sky that climbed up and down the music scale. Her howl rang for several moments before it finally took shape, and the shape it took was that of a song.

Her howl ended and she spoke at last. "You are lucky to be in the presence of a Goddess, DeathNote. I am Aqua, Goddess of all Wolves." She paused for emphasis and to let him absorb this information. Then she continued, "Do I have your word that you will protect and defend this land, even at the cost of your life? Do I have your word that you will protect all your future pack's members, even at the cost of your life? Do I have your word that you will rule this land fairly and justly? Do I have your word?"

She sat down, awaiting his reply, and blinked her clear blue eyes at him once more. Her coat sparkled and she looked like a newly fallen snowflake.

Thinking he'd been done was wrong. Land claiming wasn't that easy... DeathNote staired beside the goddess. Looking into her eyes he replyed. "You have my word. I will protect this pack, this family, at the cost of my life. And I will not let this pack die."

The promise had come out so clean, and so clear... "I will..." He finnished.

Aqua dipped her head in respect to the new alpha. She swished her tail and flapped ger wings once. Then, she raised her head and howled aout a tune. Her howl slid up and down the musical scale and eventually formed a recognizeable tune.

Then, she breathed in the DeatNote's scent. "Goodbye, respectable Sir DeathNote," she said. "May you always have peace in your land, but know what to do in times of trouble."

And with that she turned and walked away from DeathNote, into the uneven light of Crow Hollow. She blended in with the low light, and, at the same time, shone and shimmered pure white against it. She was a great contrast and perfect fit at the same time. Soon she disappeared completely, and the illusion died.
