THE CORE'S HISTORY-You may be wondering, or you probably are wondering, who, or what, this Core thing is. The Core is the energies that keep Sonofar alive. It is sentient, can speak, and is, for the most part, smart. These Cores exist in all worlds, magical or not, and worlds cannot even exist without them. Cores can die, but this is a long and complicated process that I shall not explain to you in this section, for there are other more important matters you need to be told of.

The core was born from the combining of two simple things that exist in the galaxcy, a star, and some magical energy that floats around all of us.

This created a cosmic being that could create worlds. This process took millions and millions of years however. The Core began his long job, having no greater purpose. He united the two worlds, Earth and Sonofar, with a Land Bridge. The Core of Earth was dying you see, and it was becoming easier and easier for the two dimensions to cross over. This Land Bridge was soon crossed by horses, birds, deer, birds, wolves, cougars, pumas, and fish. The Core was happy. He had no way to create life, and had spent millions of years building up the island so that it could be overrun with life. The Core of Earth died shortly after this, and the Land Bridge broke as the other world collasped.

However, The Core saw that the creatures that populated his small world have little chance of surviving the changes he had in store for the world. So, speices by speices, be began to change them. Horses had the largest number, and therefore he began with them. He gave intelligence first, and then strange features such as horn's, claws, flaming mane's and wings. He also gave magical abilities. Many of the features he gave them half resembled those of the world that had so recently died, for The Core of Sonofar had studied Earth for millions of years, facinated by its life.

To The Core's great disatisfaction, the horses separated into Alliances when the changes plagued them. The Core waited and waited, he could not create life without a host as The Core of Earth did, but he wanted to tell the horses what had changed them, and that they had to start working together and stop this war. The Host came in the form of Eliza. The rest of this story lies with her.

HOSTS, POWERS, LIMITATIONS- The Core is considerably more powerful with a Host. The Core has the ability to create life only with a Host. The Core cannot, however, change or manipulate the minds of his "creations". He also cannot move them, but The Core has some measure of control over them. For one, he can Freeze his "creations". It is very difficult for The Core to do this however, and he can only freeze three bodies at a time. The Core can also heal any of his "creations", and can read the minds of his "creations". He can also sense their presence, place, and what they are doing throughout the whole of Sonofar. The Core also has telepathy, which is how he always speaks. Out of a Host The Core can talk with more then one mind at a time. However, inside of a Host, The Core can only speak with the Host. The Core can speak with the Host's mouth if he is given "permission". More on this below.

The Core has complete control over the climate, plants, and wheather of Sonofar. He can also shape the land if he so chooses, creating mountains, streams, lakes, anything he wants. Out of the Host, this process takes millions of years, but in a Host The Core can perform these tasks almost instantly.

The Core takes nothing from his Host whatsoever. He does not drain speed, stamina, strength or anything from his Host. The Core does not need anything to live you see. Hosts infact, become stronger with The Core Inside of them. They become immortal, immune to disease, and heal if injured. Hosts also have some acess to the powers of The Core. The Host also ages, or unages to the time in their lives when they where in the peak of fitness.

The Core has the ability to move and use the body of its Host if the Host gives permission. This permission creates something called a Mindloop. Mindloops are portals that exist in the Host's body. The Core can pass through these Mindloops,and therefore use different parts of the body such as mouth, legs, or eyes. The Host can close Mindloops whenever he/she wants. The Core cannot use that part of the body again if that happens.

The Core can rip itself from a Host, but this instantly kills the Host. Hosts also cannot produce children with a Core inside of them(but there are stories about beings called The Children of The Cores) and have no need to eat or drink.
