Motivation; Revenge for his daughter and wife's supposed death by the Scourge, hatred towards the Agamand family in general for all they did to him and his family in life. Ultimately whatever Dark Lady Sylvanas asks of him, she's like a goddess in his eyes and mind.

Outward Appearance; His dark hair is tied in two braids that lay in each side of his neck, the rest of his hair is let lose behind him. Wears small and practical clothes, old habits, his armour doesn't make a set for itself, it just a mismatch he done over the time passing with whatever he picked up from his fallen adversaries. Same goes for his sword and shield. His mouth is covered by a patch, to keep his mouth from falling apart.
Lost a finger to Ilron once, for missing a Town Meeting, stitched an Agamand family member's finger to the lost one.
Uses one handed swords and a shield as weapons. Was the first weapons he ever picked up to fight against the Scourge and still remains with the same Fighting style. Poor as he was, he never learned how to wield a sword and shield correctly, the attacks he uses are what he either saw someone else doing or made up himself.

History: Arethio lived with his wife, Teretha Mithrim, and his daughter, Níanin Mithrim, in a humble house in Agamand Mills, which he paid with labour. His employees didn't give him salary, just the house and some of the abundant crops, enough to live by. He worked everyday, from sunrise to sunset just to feed his family and, when the plague outbreak started to take the households one by one the Agamand family forbid ANYONE from leaving, even their own family. Arethio stole a rusty sword and a battered shield from Agamand cemetery and barricaded his house, trying to save his family. He died after charging against a Scourge patrol who broke his houses weak defenses, never knowing what happened to his family.
As a Scourge he dealt out the same blows over and over, turning people over to the ever increasing army, nothing he could do, no strength left in him to fight, not without his precious daughter at his side.
When the King lost some of his power over them and Sylvanas created the Forsaken Arethio joined them, his grief and loss had taken a toll on him and his sanity is not what it used to be, not always, he has times when he is totally sane and is capable of thinking clearly, mostly this happens during combat, as a Forsaken he fought in his former homeplace, he fought off the remnants of humanity and Scourge. He also became citizen of Brill.
