Title: Brother Humphreys applying
Description: Application

Humphreys - February 24, 2009 08:21 PM (GMT)
1. What is your character's name, surname and former occupation?

Brother Humphreys, Bewley, Monk

2. Why exactly did you choose to join Brill and what are your plans related to it?

Brill is one of the first guilds that I heard of when I came to this realm with my friend. We wanted to join a Forsaken roleplay guild and after we asked around, we found out Brill is the most known (if not oly) Forsaken roleplay guild. Right now we're basically only looking for a nice roleplay community and a guild which we can represent with pride.

3. Do you know the basic lore and do you think it's enough to roleplay decently?

I do. I have 2 years of expierence in roleplaying on another realm (Alliance side though). So I consider myself a good rp'er with a good knowledge of WoW-Lore.

4. How active do you think you can be?

Quite active. Even though it differs from time to time, I play WoW quite alot and am frequently online. Right now I'm leveling this character, so I am most active on this character. If the roleplay I will find on this character is good, I will ofcourse be online more and more frequently.

5. Whilst roleplaying, do you use full words or prefer shortening them, such as instead of "you", using "u"?

I hate the rape of the english language. As an Forsaken, I try to sound as formal as my skill in the english language allows me to be, so you can say my behaviour is quite the opposite of that displayed in the question.

6. Are you willing to suggest ideas and help out the other members?

Naturally!

7. What's your opinion about speaking OOC(out of character) in /say or /yell?

I can never be arsed to report it, but I really dislike OOC chat in /say or /yell on a RP realm. I'm not a rp nazi, but I do ignore people after they proved to be moronic beyond saving.

8. Does your character have a background story and if not, are you willing to make one?

He has. It is a fairly new character, so it needs some tuning, but the basics are put down. It's entangled in Raphael's storyline, since our characters are a bit of a duo.

Heya, Raphael and me were wondering when and how we will be contacted regarding our application. How do we know somebody even read the applications?

A reply would be appreciated!

heh, apalogies for not responding sooner. But between TPR and RL my time for Brill is dwindling

Ilron's taking a break from leadership from the guild, basically leaving me and Tzur in charge.

Personally, thanks to nasty run-in's with TPR, I want to see you RP before inviting to the guild. Tzur might be more mild in this, but I'd like to see you RP once first.

I'll likelly be around saturday at the taverns hours. With Tzur likelly on Verseau, in charge of the bar.

Perhaps an odd question, but would Brill like more members?

Right now the guild radiates the opposite. If we should move on and find another guild, then do tell us! O.o

And what is TPR?

Rhaine - February 27, 2009 02:05 PM (GMT)
TPR (The Pale Riders) is Morbium's own guild (for Death Knights).

Obviously he wants to see you RP because he has had some bad experiences with on-the-fly recruitments in TPR.

Personally on first sight you seem like a good addition to the guild, however it's not up to me to decide whether you will be allowed in.

On a side note, in other RP games/guilds I've played the applicants wrote a background story about their character in their application by which we could see if they got the ability to create story & immersion...

Well I hope you can get in. Good luck.
