Title: Weather
Description: Raining dogs and cats?

Jehanne - August 16, 2007 03:14 PM (GMT)
Some small talk for us, here in the light discussion section. Basically, what's the weather and is it to your satisfaction?

It's been pretty hot and humid here lately. But this morning was nice and cool (low 70F's), so we went for a walk in the park. It was serene and everything, maybe a slight breeze.

While we were eating breakfast out, a thunderstorm arrived. As long as it stays raining all day, the temperature will probably be moderate. And that's a good thing.

So, yeah. Anyway. What's your weather? I heard there was a horrible earthquake (not exactly related, but natural disasters are something to talk about, too) in Peru. None of you are in South America, are you?

Not that I know of.

Here, its I think 30 celsius. Its been sunny all month, which is a surprise seeing as alot of July was raining.

Thing is, I hate hot weather. Im much rather satisfied in the winter (along with the fact that theres snowboarding and hockey), with cold weathwer. My philosophy is that its easier to get warmer (pile on clothes) then to get colder.

Snowwwwwwwwwwww!

No, just kidding. It's sunny and warm, which is "to my satisfaction."

Snow. It's Canada what do you expect?

Seriously though it's pretty sunny. Without the snow. It's not very warm but it's warm enough.

By the way, it's not sunny anymore. Now it's overcast and rain is likely. But then, where I live, rain is always likely.

Blehh. I have football, and the temperature has been increasing ever-so-steadily. Yesterday, it was 109 and CLEAARRERARGRAWGH.

Now it's sunny and warm where I am...the weather around here is so unpredictable.

Rain,
Many people call it the weather of pain,
I call it my friend,
Slowly it drips,
And slowly I hate,
To think it will end.

Uber is German, is it not?

Summer seems to have evaded England this year, we've had around a total of 3 weeks hot weather this year, the rest has been rain and cold. As I'm a huge fan of sunshine, seasonal depression is kicking in, hard.

I've been having football too and the weather is WAY too hot. Down here in Texas it's staying between 90-105. Usually it's like 96 while we practice.

Strangely, the weather has picked up here after such a dreadful Summer.

Decent.

Seems like it's going to rain today. Not that I'm complaining but it looks pretty ugly out there.

Edit: It did rain.

UK weather has certainly perked up nicely over the past week, maybe two. I hope it lasts at least just a week or so longer, as we had such an unfair Summer!
