Who is your favorite vocalist singer?

Me? I have a list compiled just for you. =D

Phil Collins, of Genesis: I love his voice. Especially when he went solo; it's very nice.

Dave Matthews, of the Dave Matthews Band: His voice has some very calming qualities, and I certainly just love it.

Prince, of Prince: I don't think there's much to say, actually.

Jack White, of The White Stripes: He's certainly not the BEST vocalist, but I love his voice.

Robert Plant, of Led Zeppelin: That's all you can say. He's awesome.

How about you guys?

BON SCOTT ORIGINAL VOCALIST FOR THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD:

AC/DC

The newer vocalist for AC/DC is terrible. :/

Ehh, he's not bad. But he compares nothing to Bon.

Craig Owens of Chiodos.

You would think he can sing high enough (as well as being an aazing screamer), but thats not even his falsetto.

EDIT: Forgot Ben Kowalewicz of Billy Talent

I agree with that.

But I like a lot of people. The dude from REO Speedwagon, Cheap Trick, Greenday (older stoof only), Elton John, Billy Joel, and more.

Brian Johnson is way better than Bon. Flame me, but my opinion is better than yours. ;p

But in reality, Layne Staley has God like vocals. Too bad he died of a drug overdose. ;_;

Lysis - August 16, 2007 11:08 PM (GMT)
I don't pay attention to singers or vocalists, so I have literally no opinion on the matter.

Brian had an ununique voice and was in no comparison to Bon. My opinion is better than yours.

Anyone watch America's Got Talent?

Cas Haley...dude....he flippin' has a voice. AWESOME voice. XD

My opinion is better than yours is from VGRC actually.

America's got talent blows my nuts. Seriously.

With Brian, AC/DC got their best selling album 'Back In Black'.

I didn't like VGRC and I don't think I ever will.

America's Got Talent has some kick-@$$ people, I am serious. Watch next tuesday, you will literally cry from the shear talent. They have this one chick that can be-box and sing at the same time. Right now you think it's nothing, but just you wait till you see her.

The only reason it was best selling was because of the timing. They hadn't released an album any time soon, they lost their lead singer, and people were dieing for a new album.

In the end, Highway to Hell was their BEST album.

Thom Yorke of Radiohead.

Seriously, i leep saying this, and no-one appears to know who he is.

Other than that, Serj.

Yes! Phil Collins is the man. "In the Air Tonight" is one of my favourite tunes.

And Shroom, Thom Yorke is a damn good vocalist. Radiohead have got some classics.

To add one, Cedric Bixler-Zavala of At the Drive In. One of the best bands ever for me, and such a great vocalist as frontman.

Zheardok - September 18, 2007 09:12 PM (GMT)
Waylon Reavis, J-Mann, Jeffrey Nothing (All three from or were in Mushroomhead), Benjamin Burnley (Breaking Benjamin), and David Draiman (Disturbed).

Saharah - October 3, 2007 06:32 PM (GMT)
Shroom- I know of Thom Yorke- just never heard of anything by him. o:

...
I heart Jared Leto. <3
He's got a wicked voice.

edit:
And oh! mz.'s post reminded me of Peter Gabriel, and Rob Thomas, for some odd reason.

I love them, too. :3
