Title: Favorite Harry Potter Book (may contain spoilers)

Well, nobody had created a topic in the literature section so I decided to make on about my favorite form of literature: HARRY POTTER! I just wanted to know which of the 7 books was everyone's favorite.
I loved the seventh one probably the most. I don't want to give too much away but the book was just so emotional and the ending was great finding out about Snape and Dumbledore and all the action that was in it. I couldn't stop reading during the last 100 pages. I think this was by far Rowling's best one and will make a fantastic movie when it comes out.
The third book (Prisoner of Azkaban) was a close second for me. I loved this book so much mainly because of all the twists in it. Plus scabbers turned out to be Peter Pettigrew, who knew (haha, I can rhyme anytime). Lastly this was the first book with Dementors, Sirius, Lupin, Pettigrew, Patronuses, and Buckbeak!
So that's all I have to say about my favorites. Vote and tell me why that book is your favorite.

The one with the guy with the scar on his head.
No really. They're all good. It's either the first one or Deathly Hallows.
The first was great. Well because it was such a good book. It was the one of the first books I actually liked. And compared to other fantasy books, this was amazing. It had the perfect amount of magic in it.
But Deathly Hallows was addicting. I couldn't put it down.

I have only read the first book and I must say I didn't really enjoy it. That being said, there is a flippin' cult now that worships these books. Are they really THAT good?
I do not read much, and when I do - I want to read a good book. Are these books worth me spending a lot of money for?

The first or second or third. From then on, they just got too long and complex for me.

Deathly Hallows is THE greatest book of all time. It tied everything up in an entertaining fashion while still having its own seperate ploline.

To me, yes. I have every book and the first 3 movies on DVD. I haven't read tons of books so I can't say these are the best of ALL. But they're the best I've ever read and are one of the very, very few books I enjoy (I'm not a big reader). I am close to obsessed with these. I'm now re-reading them and am halfway through number 3 and watch one of the movies once every other day. I just find them so well written and if you read them ALL it's amazing how it all unfolds and how loveable the characters become and how sad it is when some die. Also I found the first great in third grade when I read it because it was the new experience with that kind of book. Looking back the third is the only one that's great but I really love the last two where practically everything important happens.
EDIT: Also, the plot twists in each book are almost literally breathtaking. Just thought I'd add that. So if you haven't read I recommend them.

I actually preferred the fifth book and the seventh book. The fifth because of all the information it had in it about harry. And the seventh for reasons you guys said.

The sixth. It carried of the last one in the series, yet still kept the school theme thing going. It answered things, and introduced new questions. Is Snape with the Order? Or with Voldy? I could not put it down. The Half-Blood prince and Deathly Hallows were the only ones I couldn't, all the rest were, "Oh, I'll read more later."

I haven't read any of them, so I don't have a favorite.

I love them all.
It was definitely a great journey to partake while growing up. ^_^
