What's this? It's the Graphics CnC!


What's the purpose of this? Basically, here, users can post signatures or other graphical arts to be evaluated by others. There are some rules to set down, though.

1. Keep it related to the graphics. Any spam will be deleted immediately.

2. Give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Saying things like "that sig sux" or "it's horrible" without giving reasons or any constructive criticism will be deleted on sight.

3. You must wait for at least ONE PERSON to comment on a sig before you can post another one.
FOR EXAMPLE:
Jenny posts a sig.
Bob: That's cool, but the colors don't match.
NOW JIM CAN POST HIS SIG!

Interesting. It looks nicely electric, and it flows nicely. I think you should've used some more vibrant colors, though, or warm it up a little bit. The text isn't that bad, and I like what it says. Nice job. Very original. ;]

Looks good, MZ. Makar's outline is kinda rough in some places and doesn't blend well, but for the most part it works.

Bah, what's that rectangle doing there? I really think it messes things up. Also, I don't like how the text hides behind the man's shoulder. And for the image, it's kinda rough around the edges in some places, like the hair.

Just like I said on ZU, great job on MZ's style. Only thing that bugs me is that darn square.

That's pretty good, Loffle Monster. Some of the whatevers (Pokemon?) have rough outlines, but that's okay.

Yeah, they're Pokemon. I hate Pokemon, but I remember those from being a kid and thought they'd make a good sig.

I like the black border Lysis, it doesn't stick out too much.

I like the black border. It's nice and subtle. As I said on ZU, very nice job, though the purple and green seem unbalanced.

It's ok. But the colours don't work too well. Meh, purple just doesn't seem to fit a dark looking sig. Maybe black/blue theme would work better.

As well as the fact that I hate purple.

I made a new signature, and a new avatar, although they happen to be unrelated.

Mah signature:

Wanted to see what I could do with a signature that's all image, no background. This is the first signature I've made that has an actual picture in it, and that lacks a real background.

Saw a similar avatar on ZU, I believe it was Lost Darkness'. So, I copied the idea with my "fate" signature. Both the avatar and the signature I posted have transparency, so if your browser doesn't support transparency...well, that would be stupid, update your browser. Even the most recent edition of IE has transparency support I think.

I love the smoothness of the transparency of the signature and the text is nice, and I love the white stroke around them. Nice job. : D The avatar is a great concept, and it's really nice looking.

Lysis, nice avvy idea, though im not sure the black brushing works as its supposed too. Good though.

The sig: nice effort. Great transparency, and a cool idea. I think you achieved what you were aiming for, no? thats always a good thing.

There are many good points in the sig, I will point out the bad ones:


The man's repeating face is distracting.
The brightness of the lines draw away from the mostly black&white focal point
Text isnt very good.

Not bad. Text isn't all that readable though. I thought they were seagulls at first.
