Okay. I've been hearin' some...not complaints, but unrest over the name. I know that the Gamer's Haven is cliche'd and all, basically is what I'm hearing.

So. I'm here to see what you guys want, as we're a community and I want everyone to have a part in the overall buildup of the site itself.

What should we name ourselves? I have to admit, the Gamer's Haven isn't really all that much of a creative name, but I'm out of creativity at the moment. So. There's no poll, I just want you guys to post your ideas here and eventually I'll take the best ones and put a poll up and we'll vote.

Any suggestions?

Gamer's Haven isn't extremely original but, to be honest, I'm fine with it.

If some members are having trouble with the name, however, we should probably attempt to figure out a new one. I can't think of any suggestions for now but I'll make sure to keep it in mind and if one pops up I'll make sure to mention it.

OH! OH! I GOT IT! The Gamer's heaven. huh? huh? What about it?

In all seriousness I think the name is ok. If people don't like it then they can give suggestions but if they don't, leave it. No one likes someone who complains and doesn't do anything.

Like I have said before "Brain-dead Gaming Zombies." Is a much better name. You are named "musical zombie." with a "." We could make the "." a skull in the logo. Banners could be made as zombie themed.

It's a bit...dull. Unoriginal is more like it.

And FTW I think a zombie themed site wouldn't be the best idea. The name Gamming zombies is better than that big one though.

The ONLY way a forums will survive nowadays is something DIFFERENT about it that seperates it from all the others. It's kinda common sense.

Well yes something original is good to keep a forum alive though something completely zombie themed is bad. We don't want people thinking anyone's a necrophiliac. Some is ok but not all.

And I like the Gaming Gorge idea from moop.

Anyways. The skin isn't supposed to look OMG ORIGINAL it's just something nice to have so it spices it up. Don't worry. ;]

I like For The Win's ideas along with "Gaming Gorge", that's a decent one.

Also the skin isn't great but it's ok for now. I wouldn't keep it forever, though, if there's something that would fit better with the site.

So should I set up a new thread for the names? I'll put up a poll between the two that FTW gave us and I'll see where it gets us.
