Happy Halloween, everyone! What are you up to today? What have you done so far? What are your plans for this special occasion?
This year, my time has been going in to designing the Halloween layout for Arcade Station. You guys should go see it! ^_^
Other than that, I'm carving pumpkins! I'll show you my first and share the rest later:
Super Smash Bros. Halloween:

To tell you the truth, I'm not doing/haven't done anything and have no plans for Halloween. Yeah, I live a boring life.

I feel you. Though I don't really want to do anything today apart from what I've already mentioned, besides watching movies baking pumpkin seeds, listening to The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack, and play Yoshi's Story.

Oh! You beat me to the punch...
I went as a... er... an orphan. Last minute costume (I DID NOTHING). I'm taking a break now, lotsa candy.

Friends and I dressed as 80's teens. Gots lots of candy.
I also had my nipples twisted by some girl from school. Go figure.

I played some GHIII with Shmeh.

Considering the ten state gap, and the fact that the version I played yesterday was the PS2 version (the PS2 version of GHIII as no online function), I'd say that's pretty impressive.

What I shared with you guys earlier was but a taste of what I have in store for you from my Super Smash Bros. Halloween!
Warning! Challengers Approaching!

Bowser loves the camera! (And the camera loves him)

It's 'a me! Mario!

Thanks, you're so nice!

Bowser VS....!

Mario VS....!

Ready? GO!

SUPER SMASH BROS. HALLOWEEEEEEEEN!!
There you go! ^_^
These last two pumpkins were much harder than the Smash insignia. I took several hours each on Bowser and Mario, with Mario being the hardest.
I'm glad you guys had a happy Halloween! ^_^

Those are awesome, Blizzaga. I really like that Bowser one. How did you do that?

First, I..
1. Printed out the sketch.
2. Gutted out the pumpkin.
3. Taped the sketch on the pumpkin
4. Used a nail to poke holes around the outlines of the areas that I would cut out.
5. Took off the sketch, revealing a bunch of dots similar to the sketch.
Then I did the rest in baby steps.
Trying not to worry about the whole thing at once, I focused my attention on one spot at a time. We'll use the eyebrow for example. Then, I used a very small knife to etch around the wholes (sort of like a connect-the-dots kind of thing), shaping the area out. Then, I came back with the knife and started to go deeper, carefully in one spot sawing back and forth with the knife pointing straight down while following the curved etches. Rinse and repeat until I went all the way around the eyebrow.
Then, very carefully, I either pried out the now-lodged shape with my knife, tried to poke it in..or out..with a screwdriver.
Much patience was required, let me tell you.
Thanks for the comment! ^_^

I would never have had the patience to make those. Except maybe the Smash Bros. symbol.
