Title: Examples Of My Posts

Elenisil - August 1, 2007 12:44 AM (GMT)
If you want to get an idea of my style these are a couple of posts in another rp forum.

Silver hooves moved beneath a veil of black lace. Long lean pillars that had been gone for so long, once again trod the long missed soils. Large nostrils flared, taking in the scent of the forest, her sanctuary during the day and preferred place of frequenting at night. The woods were lovely, their tall looming trees reaching toward the sky and entwining with others around them, creating a formidable barrier for the light and any above. Long feathered pillars drover her forward carrying sleek black bodice further and further through the woods.

It had been years since she had last walked these lands and a calm quickly ran through her, but it didn't stay long. Soon the events of the evening came crashing down upon her all at once. The forest its self carried the story that was playing out amiss it. Steel blue orbs winced shut as the memories the woods held played out in her mind. An elven girl stealing an ivory mare, she couldn't tell who it was, but then another image struck her. Powerful frame offset with glowing orbs, it was Ivanhoe. Even though she did not know him well, Elenisil still held a special place for the stag in her memories. She remembered he was kind, gentle, and fair even in the hardest of situations.

Then another presence came to her, one of which she did not know. A medium build dun colored stallion presented himself in her mind with golden brown wings. His body dappled and spirit still new and wild. Black dishes swiveled atop her skull as she once again opened her eyes. Long lean pillars begun carrying her forward long forelock veiling her face and framing steel blue eyes and horn before a dark mist of red and black begun to form around her body. She wasn't far from the silver mare laying unconscious atop the elven when sleek equine form was engulfed by the dark black and red mist.

Emerging from the darkness she stepped, but not as before, long slender legs carried a thin body. Appearing elfin she steeped forward to where the two lay still unaware of her presence. Tall slender body although very different from her true form still possessed the scent she could not rid herself of, the scent of an ancient. Black and crimson mists receded back into her soul as she stepped around where their masses were laying hand and fingers outstretched between the two. Reading them she knelt, black skirt draping over the ground and long black hair puddling at her sides. They were in need of help, but she could not do much with them in this state only sustain how they were presently, she would need both help and trust to go further if she were to help them.

Crouching down she sat between the two, one hand outstretched over the elf's head, the other over the mares. Hanging her own head low she prepared herself, she knew the risks of doing what she was about to do, but the two laying on either side of her could not wait any longer. Long black and crimson cape behind her began to shift and open, making way for two large masses to appear. Hidden behind her back, but now revealed were two large bat-like wings. Spreading her wingspan wide she curled them slightly creating a shield like barrier to protect herself and the other two beside her while she became vulnurable to try and ease their pain. Leather like skin streatched red and black between long thin bones as she flexed slightly, preparing herself to take on the bambarding of senses. Opening up her soul she released her aura, a crimson black mist returning and flowing from her palms to the unconscious beings by her side. Biting down and grimacing hard she took into herself excess pain and injury. It was excruciating to do, taking on both creatures at once, but she knew that she could and that it must be done. So there she sat and waited, a hand over both creatures, wings spread protectively above them all, and her powers flowing open and freely between them.
