Title: Mutation Mishap - Newman Inc Island Lab.
Description: Chapter one.

Dragontear - August 11, 2007 10:28 AM (GMT)
Newman inc. is a major chemical company to governments around the globe that has several labs in each county, while on the surface they are bettering humanity, how can one be so sure of their intent?...until they become a test subject for the real cause?

One particular lab, Island Delta Labs, based on the offshore island closest to the Danvers community, has become the latest location of speculation in the nation. While there always have been strange sightings of creatures on the island, there have been additional sghtings as of late, many such creatures faintly resembling today's natural animals.

There have been faint rumours within the scientific community, regarding Newman Inc, such as possible health and saftey hazards, possible biological side-effects on the local wildlife and any possible harm to the surrounding enviornment.

Today a spokesmen of Newman Inc delivered this short statement, prior to boarding a helicopter for England; "Neman Inc. and it's parent companies have taken every precaution in regards to the quality products that we are working towards to produce, to better our fellow humans and beastfolk, there is no possiblity of any damage cause to any bioligical and geographical related-"

The last TV screen went offline just then, Sector A5 was a safer area than many, but lacked humans, the only living occupants were a tiny group of mutants, projects that had 'failed', yet survived their harrowing awakening in this hell-hole, metallic floors, walls and ceilings faintly reverbirate in the screams of the dying...

It is cut off from the rest of the laboratory, lights are often dysfunctional at best, few food supplies, few tools worthy of use, this sector is residential aream several rooms for the live-in maintainance staff and security...security maps can be viewed from any security terminal, there is one in teh sector ''A5'.http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k258/Kal...olourededit.jpg

Blast doors, bulkheads and security-grade steel doors are the only way to the redzones, locked down...to keep the monsters out, and to keep the group in...save haven, or death trap?

((For the interests of keeping the group safe at first, we shall start in sector 'A5'. Please, can the characters have their sector locationat the start of each post?))

Sector A5

Earthsong looked up at the slightly blinking red light through glazed over ice blue eyes, ears perked up to listen for anything. She may have been blind, but her sense of hearing and smell was wall penetrable. She could hear things scuffling about in sector F3, letting out a small snort when the faint scent of decaying flesh reached her nose.

Most likely the zombies.

She shook her head and fingered the reinforced bars of the cage, wanting nothing more than just to be free. She sighed, remembering how long she had been in the hell-hole she was in now.

She was brought here when she was 600 years old... or was it 900? She lost count, but she did know that she was still a pup in dragon standards.

She leaned her back against the bars of the cage and let out a sigh, closing her sightless eyes. She opened them again and grunted, shifting her wings in discomfort.

She can only hope that she was freed, free from this reincarnation of hell itself...

Sector A5

Kirra made her way down the steps of building 4, sector A5. She had wandered the sector since they had first locked it down and bombed it last week. She had been left in the basement, destined to starve to death. Yet luckily she was able to intensify her pyrotechnic abilities and melt through the metal bars, escaping into the night.

Now she wanted to see what she was up against. She went from building to building looking for survivors, anyone that was below the surface and escaped extermination.

From the moment she had arrived on the island she had been locked away in that cell in the basement, and now the world looked foreign and gray. Everything on the surface was rumble. Her feet clanged on the metallic steps as she approached the cell block. It looked much like her own and she began to hope that she was not alone...

Belias Ashebane - August 11, 2007 05:18 PM (GMT)
Sector: A5

She heard nose from the bars from somewhere in the room. Seleen looked around the room from the dark corner she was sitting against alone. She had been there for 900 years nothing seemed to bother her since her time spent there. She never had anyone beside her for those years to come her husband died of starvation after the big Experiament he had on him.

"Anyone there" She asked quietly wishing there was a response that didn't seem to wish her harm. Seleen got up from the corner she was huddled against and made a small walk around the room her claws clinking against the floor. After her little round she began to stretch not any stretch but what the military does.

As she finished her work out she called out again "Anyone here besides me" This time sadness in her voice. Seleen trapped in the sector she was locked away in for her form. for 900 years no one to call her own she looks around the room again looking to see if anyone else is in there with her.

Earthsong - August 11, 2007 07:43 PM (GMT)
Earthsong perked her ears up when she heard footsteps, one sounding like an animal and the other a human. She let out a snort as she tried to move in her cramped cage, milky ice blue eyes darting about the room.

She didn't try to speak, for the many days without food and water hoarsed her voice to nothing but a whisper. Instead, she thumped her tail loudly, hoping that someone would hear her.

But then again, maybe she didn't want this someone or something to know she was there.

What if it's one of the scientists? If so, they'd just take her back into the lab to see exactly what she was; the main reason why she was here.

Or what if it's one of the abominations here? Earthsong had a nasty encounter with quite a few, being forced to fight for her survival in the battle ring with them for the humans' entertainment.

Disgusting, heartless creatures.

She decided to take her chances and let out a puff of fire from her mouth, lighting the room up briefly with its small spark. She waited for a moment with perked up ears, hoping that whatever she was drawing attention from was friendly.

Raziel - August 11, 2007 10:17 PM (GMT)
At the flash of light Kirra sent her arms up in flames, a warning to the other. She could manipulate fire so the being couldn't hurt her that way... but she wasn't quite up for find out.

As she stepped to the finally landing she could see the rows of cages. Someone called out. Anyone there?

"You are not alone anymore. I've come down from the surface. Show yourselves." She demanded. If these were hostiles she would take them out, if not she would gladly free them and let her join them on the surface.

Earthsong - August 11, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)
"I would if I could." Earthsong managed out, her sightless eyes landing on the woman in the room.

"But sadly, I can't seem to get out of this prison." She said softly, letting out a sigh.

She breathed another puff of fire to lead the woman towards her, not being able to see if it was dark or not. She let out a sigh after her action.

Being blind really sucked.

Raziel - August 12, 2007 01:16 AM (GMT)
Kirra smirked as she eyed the girl in the cage. She was no threat. Her eyes were like blue clouds, a tell tale sign that she couldn't see a foot in front of her face... but perhaps with her powers she could see somewhat.

She strode up to the bars and grasped her hands around the bars, searing them until they liquefied. She scanned the others face for a sign of shock. It wasn't every day you met someone who could melt metal. She smirked.

"At least those scientists were good for something."

Dragontear - August 12, 2007 01:26 AM (GMT)
A security camera whirred as it followed Kirra moved to the cage in the dark, night-vision allowing better sights of what had actually happened. The camera had caught footage of the female, Kirra, release another project of Newman Inc.

It was odd, because the camera, seconds before, was inactive. Something was watching them, where was ahrd to define, but it had to be a blue zone, safe, secure, protected, intact for terminal interaction. Something was watching their every move, cold calculating mind.

A bang occured in F3. A sound of collapse occured in the same sector, F3.

Before Kirra may or may not turn to see the camera in the corner of this particular room in sector A5, it would have seemed..inactive.

Earthsong - August 12, 2007 03:26 AM (GMT)
Earthsong let out a sound of surpise, partially because she could hear the metal bars inprisoning her melting, and partially because she heard the distinct sound of a bang from sector F3.

Don't those undead creatures every stop moving?

She decided to ignore it and took a sniff of the air, wanting to know who had freed her. 'The scent of a female.' She thought, her mind quickly analyzing what sex the person was.

She may be female, but what kind of female?

She took another sniff, her mind scrolling down the list of what she was. 'Anthro' She catagorized, reaching out with a large clawed hand.

The tips of her fingers brushed against skin, making the white werewolf stop advancing her hand.

She didn't know what part of the woman's body she was touching, but she silently hoped it wasn't anywhere... personal.

That would be awkward and disturbing.

To her relief, Earthsong felt the woman's collarbone and noted where it was, making sure she didn't move her hand anywhere below her neck.

She let her fingers glide over from the woman's neck to her cheek, being careful not to nick the soft flesh with her sharp talons.

This action was nothing more than an act of curiousity, wanting to know what the person might've looked like by feeling the facial features.

She vaguely hoped she wasn't invading the woman's personal space too much, knowing that her touch may seem quite impulsive to some.

Raziel - August 12, 2007 03:34 AM (GMT)
Kirra stood still as the beast before her ran it's talons down her neck. She was a fierce woman and very little intimidated her but she stiffened, wary of any danger this new creature could bring to her.

"I'm Kirra." She said as the claw reached her collar bone. She wondered what this dragon-like being was... so strange and unusual.

She finished the final bar, releasing her into the cell block.

Earthsong - August 12, 2007 03:52 AM (GMT)
Earthsong stopped her 'staring' and crawled out of the cage, shaking her body like a dog would when she was out.

She stood up to her full height and stretched her arms up above her head, bending her elbow in a 90 degree angle when her palms rested on the ceiling's surface.

Her tail swished behind her happily as she slowly spread her wings out, the hearing satisfying cracks of her aching bones popping.

The popping soon stopped when her end of her wings brushed against the wall, telling her that she couldn't fan her wings out to their full length.

Her blind gaze fell on the woman before her and Earthsong smiled, the sound of the other's heartbeat telling the white werewolf where she was.

"Thank you, Kirra. My name is Earthsong." She said, ears twitching slightly.

Belias Ashebane - August 12, 2007 08:13 PM (GMT)
Seleen got up from the corner she was sitting in rather interested to see what caused the noise. She went to go investegate. Her grey eyes Scanning the room as she made her way closer to where she heard the ruckess. "Anyone here" Seleen Called out awaiting and wishing for a reply.

Earthsong - August 12, 2007 08:27 PM (GMT)
Earthsong turned her head from Kirra, ears perking up when she heard someone's question. She followed the sound of another's heartbeat, knowing that it wasn't the woman behind her.

She stopped when she walked a few feet away from Kirra, feeling the heat of another person radiating somewhere close to her. "Hello." She greeted, hoping the person would know that she was friendly.

She awaited an answer patiently, her sightless eyes looking towards the person, though not really seeing them.

Belias Ashebane - August 12, 2007 09:07 PM (GMT)
Seleen perked up her own ears hearing a response she called out "Hello I'm guessing I wasn't the only one stuck in this place. God it's been 900 years that I've been here and never heard such a grand voice such as yours" She moved closer towards Earthsong wondering who the other may be. "my where are my manners My name is Seleen and yours is Earthsong if I'm not mistaken I'm so pleased to know at least someone else is here besides me ever since my husband died in this god forsaken place" Seleen reached out a hand to see if anything would touch it.

Dragontear - August 12, 2007 11:50 PM (GMT)
Sector A5:

A wall-mounted temrinal was neaby, next to it's slaved security door that lead to the closest redzone, Sector A6. A small half-functioning ligt, bleeping green, was one side of the terminal, the screen went to it's static for a second, but then went black, some words began to slowly apepar on the computer screen, but too small in the dark to clearly see from any distance, save for being right in front of the terminal. It had a keyboard and a microphone that hung at the side, connected by a wire.

Sector B2:

He was watching them, the cameras were his eyes, ears and the gatling guns under each small camera, like the one that had now re-activated, could use to clear a path. The chicken-legged robots, greyish metallic units that stood a metre tall,a rmed with gatling guns and rocket laucnhes, would be his hand in this matter.

Logic dictated his actions s he sat in the old chair, not facing the computer, several wires connected the diodes in his brain to the computer's now-exposed inner-workings.

Logic dictated the groups' use.

((I don't wanna bug anybody, but could they list their sector at the start of each post? I apologise if i was not clear. <^.^> In case anybody looks back to see where people are or anything.))

Kirra walked to the other beings cage and after assessing her and find her of no immediate threat, seared the bars, bending them and throwing them aside.
Smoke billowed from where her hands had made contact and she made a hole big enough for the other to squeeze through.

"I'm Kirra, this is Earth. We'll be your rescuers today. Sit back and enjoy the ride." She said with a smirk.

"I can't thank you enough for helping me getting me free It's been some time since I seen another person besides the scientists and abominations I faced in the Arena for the humans damned pleasure" Seleen climbed out of the cage and stretched quickly. when she bent over her necklace clanged gently against the ground. Seleen was pretty much claimed a failure in a test result with her Husband as the big *Experiment*.

"If I can may I accompany you both as I have no where to go and if your wondering for my combat capabilities I'm just fine" Seleen held up her arms black scars went up both her arms beginning close to the wrist working on way up to her elbows. Relief overcame her and her tail began to sway in the open space that she came into.

"Thank you Kirra and I must have seen Earth before because I seen her when she was first placed in this cell block way after me because I could feel her presences but couldn't exactly place where it was coming from. So again you have my thanks." Seleen bowed deeply towards Kirra.

Even though her feet were metalic they caused barely a ripple of sound to echo off the damaged walls. The hydrolics on the other hand were niosy, each silent footfall was accompanied by the hiss of the air cylanders that made all of her muscles move. Her newly awakened eyes scanned the perimiter. It was still the wide open lab area where she was sent to hybernate so long ago, but it had changed. Walls were charred from slight fire damage, electrical wiring hung from the ceiling and everything seemed to be battered in some way.

Her mecha body was still in the "outlet" they had put her in. It was like a metal cacoon that was the same shape as her. Wires and tubes were pulged into the corresponding places in her machine back and stomach. Most were feeding tubes, waste outlets, and other vital sign monitoring systems, but some were ment to keep her combat systems functioning. Every day it would run a diognastic scan to make sure nothing was run down, or getting old. She had awakend because that wire was damaged, it forced an emidiate abortion to her hybernation. It was programed to wake her and send a command to find her programer to be fixed. Apon waking her computer like brain knew that it would take more than a wave of the hand to alert someone to her plight.

She pulled out all the wiring, then ran a self-scan to make sure that each body part was online and she stepped out of her cacoon. Her body was louder than she had hoped, noting that some of her hydrolics had not been replaced in some time. Her brain tried to connect to the lab's wireless modem to find the date and time but it could not be located. It was her duty to find a wall port that could connect her to the lab's server. With the damage in this room she figured that more than 85% of the underground lab was disabled and damaged in some way. It would take her a while to find a functioning port. She set off again scanning the room for a way to exit into the next.

Dragontear - August 20, 2007 07:46 PM (GMT)
Sector B2:

Zachariah watched through numerous cameras, security drones, and other half-usable security systems to moniter Earthsong, Seleen, and Kirra.

All teh while,w aiting. Eyes closed, the cameras in Sector B2, three cameras that could ee the mechaniclly-inclined cryogenics tube that contained a hunter unit, Scout.

He patched into the systems, then allowed himself to spectate the anthro droid's awakening...

Sector A2:

A security camera int eh corner of the small room where Scout had awoken watched, silently like it's master, watched the female unit activate, arise and escape her tiny prision

A terminal nearby the unit, microphone and keyboard input visible, screen fizzled out to replaced by a black screen.s tatic here and there, words formed.

Aszcin Blue Star - August 20, 2007 08:00 PM (GMT)
Sector A2

Slow scanning the room with her eyes she noted that there were "others" who were active and moving about the room. Luckily they had not seen or sensed her yet. Her mecha-inhanced cat ears picked up on uneven breathing, a dripping sound, and the crackling of computer screens. She changed her visor into therma-scan mode, sweeping the room for the red figures that indicated a body. There was one red hot creature thirty feet from her crouched down beside a less red form. It was feeding. Another that was more behind her and fifty feet away seemed to be biding it's time, watching the one that was eating. If she stayed quiet enough that one would stay occupied with the other.

She changed her visor back to her regular eyesight. And looked about the room again. She found the nearest computer port and walked, as quietly as she could, towards it. Each step accompanied by the hiss of hydrolics. Her right index finger morphed into a connector link so that it could download information from the database. Finding the right terminal she pulged her finger into it to see what data she could recover from it.

Dragontear - August 20, 2007 08:17 PM (GMT)
Sector A2:

The terminal screen flickered to reveal a sinple sentance of words, red words ina black background, while the information input actually gave very little. Zachariah was making sure not to lrave itself open.

Unit NAA:07, route_Sector B2, security chamber.

Zachariah awaits.

A camera watched as the terminal screen 'talked' for Zachariah, no chances were beign taken, as the robotic mutated anthro was cautious about her, having read and studied her profile and herself, he believed her useful, but the lab's damage could have altered her.

No risks.

Aszcin Blue Star - August 20, 2007 09:10 PM (GMT)
Sector A2

She wanted more information than that but more forceful probing had the computer relenting nothing. All she could do now was figure out her current position and contine on to meet this "Zachariah" target. Unlinking her finger from the terminal she turned and stuidied the walls trying to locate any directions to the next set of rooms. According to what she could pull from the walls and a faded map she was in Sector A2, directly above B2. She only had to pass through a few rooms to find herself within the sector described in the message.

She turned, once again setting her visor into therma-sensor mode. She quickly found that niether creature had moved much, only the one who was stalking the other had moved twenty feet in the direction of the other mutant. She took a step forward and heard the loud cracking sound of glass under her foot. She had stepped on a large glass container, the shards lay crushed into fine pieces under her heavy frame. The sound was loud enough to not sound like the usual disorder in the room. She watched as both mutants were alerted to her presence, turning towards her and walking with intent.

Immediatley she sent a command to her modem and out to each body part. Her legs allowed her body to crouch down slightly more than if she were walking, so that she could run with a faster speed. All ten of her fingers morphed untill they had a razor sharp claw installed on each tip. Now she was ready for hand to hand combat, but yet she did not move.

But this was her intention, she waited untill each creature was within a fifteen foot perimiter. She could see clearly what they were. The one who had just fed was a creature with definite bear resemblance with broad shoulders and a hulking frame. The other was built for speed, slender and lithe it bore a striking resmblance to a cheetah. She thought of how to attack, sending a barrage of plans through her brain. Speedily she chose the best plan and with a whir and a small beep she snapped her body into combat.

Her body lurched forward with a large burst of speed. The hydrolic cylanders hissed and sputtered in protest. It was a blatant reminder that they were not a hunderd percent capable of what she wanted them to be. But she couldn't bother with that now, the cheetah creature was already faster than her. She first charged the bear, knowing that the cheetah would follow her. She was now in front of the bear when she saw the cheetah already pressing forward towards her. She jumped, allowing the cheetah to slam full force into the bear mutant. The bear threw it to one side, knocking it into a rack filled with glass vials.

Now turning her attention to the bear once again she rushed it and at the last second darting to one side. While it still faced forwards she pushed off the floor and delivered a bone shatering kick to its lower thigh and knee. The beast collapsed, a shriek of agony ripped through the near silence. She knew she had badly broken it's leg, the beast was helpless now. She jumped apon it, both legs coming down on it's outstretched neck. There was a distinctive snap, and a groan was the last thing the mutant sounded.

A growl from behind her alerted her to the once again concious cheetah mutant, ready to spring from where it fell. Not even bothering to turn she leaped, throwing her body upside down. As she sailed through the air the creature below her looked up at the last possible second. But before it could do anything else she managed to grab ahold of it's skull. She landed with one knee on the ground both arms outstretched slamming the head as hard as she could into the floor. If it was still alive she would never know because the next instant she plunged her sharpened claws into it's body. Her left through it's back and into it's heart, the right into the base of the skull. Another snap told her that both were now dead. Another small beep. 21.7 seconds, almost a new record. The room now clear and secure she continued on to sector B2 and target "Zachariah".

Dragontear - August 20, 2007 09:31 PM (GMT)
Sector A2:

CCTV security cameras watched her along the route, and witnissed the marvil of such a skileld creation in action, Zachariah, from teh relative of his security room, watched the cyborg advance into a long chemical storage room with mutants of bear and cheetah origion, Zachariah watched with closed eyes, the CCTV cameras acting as the orbs of vision.

The cameras saw how well she performed, and this reliefed cybergenic Lycan, he saw how effective, graceful and combat ready she was.

Sector B2:

Zachariah would have smiled, she was advancing through ahllways of pre-ordained clearance, security doors locked and unlocked at her presence, effectively herding her towards him.

He sat in the old leather chair, not too bothered by the mutilated sounds occuring from sector F3.

White enhanced eyes watched the bulkhead door, with a simple thought, the heavy door opened to allow Scout acess to his sanctuary...as well as a first sight of allies in the corner of this smallish room.

Two light security drones, a metre and a half tall each, titanium built chicken walkers, one arm on their relatively small form, chainguns exposed at their arm side, cameras on the other side and top of the torso, two cylidners on their backs.

Aszcin Blue Star - August 20, 2007 09:53 PM (GMT)
After her battle it was all to easy to just walk through each new door that slid open to her. Target "Zachariah" was eager to meet her, though she knew that he had already seen her. Cameras, though seemingly offline, threw off a distinct high pitched noise that all eletronics did when in use. They had watched her every movement, from when she woke and all through her battle.

She approached the last door and watched as it slid open soudlessly. Quickly she scanned the room and found two drones and a Lycan creature inside. She stepped forward just enough to be in the room. With the last of her hydrolics hissing she heard the click behind her as the door slid shut once more. The last of the blood dripped from her fingers; she transformed them back to their more human apperance. For the first time since waking the front of her visor slid back allowing her real face to be seen. Her face was the only part of her human body that did not need to be coverd by metal. Her face seemed a pale round moon, lightly dappled with freckles. She looked to be only nineteen. Her ice blue eyes adjusted to the dim light. She did not speak, nor did she move, only her eyes trianed themselves on her target... "Zachariah"

Dragontear - August 20, 2007 10:19 PM (GMT)
Sector B2:

Eager may have not been the best word to describe Zachariah, the machine-like Lycan watched her feminine form enter teh security room, blue lit room that was relatively un-scratched, the two security drones moved to stand either side of her, caution was the watchword for the machine-minded Lycan.

Darkgreen furred Lycan and a anthro cat-cyborg, if he was human, he would have found this circumstance oddly amusing. He titled his head as he disconnected hismelf from the machine, wires falling freely as he gave up direct control.

"Unit NAA:07 Scout..." He began as he calmly stood, he was about her height, but far less physically strong. Now, at elast, she could probe information, fi ehr system operated on a wireless basis, or try to and fail.

"Are you fully awoken from your...slumber?" He added witha near-monotome tone.

Aszcin Blue Star - August 20, 2007 10:42 PM (GMT)
Sector B2

She was programed to translate and converse in over two-hundred languages, and yet words seemed so foriegn to her. She scanned her cyborg brain again, linking into her AI systems chip. This was the chip that blocked her real brain from functioning. She quickly ran through his words again. Forming her sentences she calculated each word, each sylable in her mind before speaking.

Her words were cold and emotionless, like that of a computer. But it was spoken from the lips of a human and it used it's voicebox. Thus a hollow sounding human. "I am still offline from current time. My last reported date was March 18th of 1993 at 1430 hours and 28 seconds. My hybernation was terminated due to system damage. I am seeking repairs and system updates." Done speaking, there was silence.

((I just used the current date to calculate how long I was in hybernation...))

Dragontear - August 21, 2007 05:57 PM (GMT)
Sector B2:

Zachariah tilted his Lycan head as he lsitened, one ear perked up to imitate his Lycanthrope's blodline instinct, the other ear drooped as he paid attention, silently, to her. He tilted his head the other way, then stood straight up. "Spare parts and techical systems are avalaible within the laboratory, i have located spare parts within Sector B3, i can conduct the system repair with further aquired tools."

He said that in his usual perfectly calm tone.

His own organic systems were undamage, the mechanical diodes attached to him only enhanced his already acute abilities, and required no such repairs. Unlike the Hunter Cyborg in front of him.

Aszcin Blue Star - August 21, 2007 06:27 PM (GMT)
She moved for the first time since entering the room, it was only a small incline of the head but it was something other than the statue like stillness. Her eyes focused on the Lycanthrope once again, and she spoke in her cold and empty tone. "A full system update is required before future use. Combat Android NAA:07 is programed to assist in anyway possible. I am fully capable of taking orders." It was not possible for her to function like a normal human could, like a computer she only exsisted for the usage of others. Taking commands was all she was capable of. There were too many chips and wires impanted along her skull that disabled her human thoughts.

((hint, hint, the AI chip is removable...))

Dragontear - August 22, 2007 02:10 AM (GMT)
Sector B2 (Security chamber):

Zachariah calmly watched her form promote only the faintest of movements, a mere incline of her head gave him little emotion or even possible thoughts that were running through her mind, however mechanical, alien or altered her mind truely was.

He walked over to another temrinal, and brought up a display of the lab's map. "Familarise yourself with the layout before we do anything. I do not wish for you to lose yourself in our human prison." Once again, calmly stated.

Aszcin Blue Star - August 22, 2007 04:31 PM (GMT)
She stepped forward a few steps, each with the all to familiar whine and hiss of over-used hydrolics. Maintaing her metalic body was her system's main priority. If her body functions were not maintained then she could break down in the field, or even more disaterious, in the middle of a battle. Her visor slid over her face again, and there was a wirring noise that could be described as the sound a computer makes when it's downloading something. Basically she was scanning it and placing it in her computer memory. As the visor slid back once again, she turned to face the Lycanthrope. Her tail twitched behind her, almost like a cat's would. "Memorization complete."

Dragontear - August 22, 2007 04:55 PM (GMT)
He took a second to study and memorize Scout's face, to a human, it would have appeared attractive, but to him it simply reminded him of what the younger female scientist may have appeared. He knew as much about her as he required, one thing was msot itneresting, that her ability to freely think was repressed by Cybergenic control chips. So long as the technology was attached, she would follow all orders without question, like he himself was doing, logic dictated his work, and he would prefer to keep her like this.

He waited until she scanned thr map layout, then walked back over to the other temrinal, then connected himself to the open temrinal systems board via wires, and sent several protocols to the terminal Scout was scanning, allowing her to freely download protools to command low-level security droids via a short-range vocal wireless system.

"Take systems Security units, Unit A67 and Unit A68, they will cover you while i watch your route, CCTV cameras will watch your path, and should you encounter difficulty from rogue specimens, i will render assistance. Security threashold acess is open, proceed to Sector B3, storage rooms B3-01, to B3-04, return with the technology when aquired."

A security door to the hallway leading to Sector B3 opened, mutilated sounds occured from within the yellow sector, either chainguns wiping out rogue specimens or said specimens finding their meals.

Man this is getting hard to play without any real thoughts or feelings... ^^ I like a good chalenge.

Again, her movements consisted of a blink, and a nod. No sign of real recognation crossed her blank, and empty face. She had recoreded his task into her databanks and set it to main priority. Then without any further command her body made the small shift again to combat mode. This time instead of just morphing her hands she also changed her tail. The metal along the tip flattened to consit of a makeshift knife. Her paw-like claws suddenly had razor sharp tallons on each tip. Then reaching down she popped a small metalic tube from a holder on the side of her hip. It was a lightsabre more or less. She kept it off to conserve it's energy. "Task is set to priority, will procede at command."

Sector B2:

He simply watched her via calm glances, his Cybergenic mind was not so much pleased to see and speak to her as it was impassivly impressed by her abilities, even after her rude awakening he helped to engineer.

He simply sat down at the chair again, this time facing the terminal and brought up different windows, one of a interactive map of the whole laboratory as he began plugging wires from thr terminal to the diodes exposed from the skin on his head under the fur.

"Proceed Scout, Security Droids A67 and A68 will be under your command." He calmly said this as he began interacting witht eh temrinals ystems, hacking into nearby droids and other systems, to help Scout proceed.

Sector B2-B3

"Affrimative," Was her last response before turning her back on him and walking out the room with the tiny attack droids at her side. She sent a wireless command for them to scan the room for her and report any movement. As the door closed behind her, the visor slid down her face, once again transforming her into Scouting Mode. Hence her given name; Scout. She was built as a war machine, ready for combat in seconds. But her model was exspensive to manufacture, thus leading to the creation of only seven of them. Each model required an actual Cat-human inside. The computer inside the suit was made to only function off of the already present brain waves. Without the host humaniod, the paracitic suit was powerless. She was the last in the NAA, or Neko Assult Android, series.

As quietly as her robotic suit would allow she proceeded into Sector B3. Her target sector, B4 was on a horizontal path, making it an easy navigation. All she had to do was sneak her way across each damaged room, taking out as many 'problems' as nessicary, retrive the technology that was desire and come back for system repairs and updates. If her robotic brain could have shown happyness a smug smile would have been on her lips. Alas her face remained blank as she cautiously stepped through ruin.

Sector B2:

Zachariah did not watch her go, isntead he had the security chamber acess doors locked behind her to rpevent anything getting past as he concentrated ont eh CCTV cameras monitoring the female NAA. He coulden't help but be curious about her, such a unique unit, not just because she was the seventh and last NAA hunter unit, no.

Rather than directly interacting with a single camera, he brought up another view screen on the terminal screen. This screen showed what one camera was watching, several more screens popped up, one saw a creature that made Zachariah blink.

Sector B3:

The movement the Security droids would pick up belonged to a half-human female, dragging a metallic girder with one inside-out arm. She appeared to have worn a bloody patient's smock, several growths had burst out of her body, muscle rippled with each slow step, a odd helmet on her head and patches of wires hung off her form.

She approached down a corridor not far from Scout.

A chaingun was rolled out of the bottom of a CCTV camera that had seen thr rogue specimen, and began spinning to fire until the creature was out of sight.

((Oooh. :P))

Sector B3

An alert flashed through her visor, the combat android to her left side had picked up on swift movement. Allowing the bot to send her a visual feed she saw the mangled mess that could only be a mutant. She watched as it snarled then lept away from something it had been watching. By the few seconds of tape her computer brain judged that it was about 5' 6", strong build, heavy power, and high speed. Her calculations almost scared her. The creature was less powerful as her, but it had speed. Anything that close to her physical capabilities was deemed a high threat. The two she had dealt with before was a low threat.

Relaying another wireless message she sent one android to scout ahead, the other would remain behind her, scanning the area to make sure that the creature would not attack from the rear. Her sharp claws held the lightsabre tighter as she flicked the powerup button on. It was an older model compared to the stuff they had developed during her hybernation so it took a full minuet to charge up. She ran one last body scan, judging than close to 93% of her full potential power was still usable. She charged up her body's defense, she felt it tighten and becomme an almost indestructable barrier. She set her visor into therma-scan mode once more.

((Remember, the half-metre drones have chain guns too, in case you're wondering. *Hugz.*))

Sector B3:

The mutilaed mutant careered down the hallways, seemingly knowing where to actually go, it was coming straight for Scout and the two drones, the bloodied patient's smock hardly slowing it down, not even the two-metre metallic girder, poles of metal, slowed it down much.

The CCTV security camera in the same room as Scout was, in the corner nearest to teh hallway where the Cybergenic came in, unvieled it's chain gun.

What would or might slow the mutant down, was the several metal racks dotted about the darkly yellow-lit large room, pieces of defunct machinery by the walls gave minor cover to arms fire.

The mutant came sprinting down into the room, the chain gun on the CCTV camera unloaded dozens of rounds, many hit at the first few seconds, obliterating skin and surface flesh, but slowed the specimen down naught, the metallic helmet, slits in the face where blood seeped out, gave minor vision as it had to struggle to navigate around the tall metal racks, massive poles in one hand.

The thing let out a peircing scream as it failed to dodge the shower of bullets as it moved.

((You can control the monster alittle if you want Aszvin. <^-^>))

OOC:
Never fear! I remember that the androids have guns 'n stuff. And I was planning on puppetering the...ermm...monster...thinggy. This is gonna be a good post. ^^

IC:
In one deft, almost ludicris, movement she was speeding through the air twords her target, her lightsabre in hand and ready to go with a rapid swipe. It was effortless to get her android self to jump high, or run at fast speeds. If she could register a thought like a human could she would be happy. A melodious, pure laughter would peel out and across the rooms. She would have been so happy to be gliding through the air like a bird... No, she was thinking it. She was remembering the time when she had her first expirenece on a trampolene. She was a six year old, rosey cheeked child. Jumping into the air gave her the same feeling as bouncing on that trampolene. Then a voice, I'm flying, mommie!

Her head was splitting, with a swirling feeling. It was computer data, numbers and figures, mixed with human emotions, happyness... Laughter, and voices. Then suddenly, the wall was all too close. Her body, occupied with the new burst of emotion, had not prepared for the next propelling jump that would have sent her proplelling into the mutant. She slammed sideways into the wall with a resonating crack.

The mutant screeched in a confused frenzy. It locked it's eyes on her android target. Then without hesitating it charged her, battering the steel girders along other metal racks as it went. Another seires of whines, whirrs, beeps, and overloaded computer-like sounds went in rapid succession beofre the chip clicked back into action. Suddenly, there was no happyness. All there was was a battle ready monster charging full force with a intent to kill flashing in it's bloody eyes, and a command from a mainframe that told her to avoid the attack.

She picked her wracked body from it's stupor. Dashing to the left, she barely made it out of the swinging metal in time. An automatic warning system informed her that she had taken mild damage on her left side. She was still funtioning above 90%. Her metalic body tensed once more. It was lucky for her that she still was clutching the lightsabre, else she would have been defenseless. It was fully charged, and ready. Slidding to a halt after her quick escape she turned to face the monster. With a flick of the wrist the sword flashed into blinding blue life. It was the same lenght as an average long sword, though this was four times as light. It could cut through flesh, bone, and most metals with jaw dropping speed.

But now it was down to a battle of out-manuverability. It was a one hit kill combat. The metal girders could easily take off her head, but the lightsabre could do it faster. The problem... Was she fast enough?

Sector B3:

After it's screeching, teh former female subject simply charged fowards, one usless arm dangling while the other, over-muscled arm swung the metallic girders overhead, to plummet down with great speed and streangth to crush scout's metallic head and body.

The blood that seeped from the eyeslits as it let out another string of screams from the chainguns spalttering surface flesh everywhere, soon bloddying the metallic racks around them.
