The world has become a dangerous place. The change seemed to happen in a mere heartbeat, but its effects were tremendous, and unmerciful. It was like nothing the world had ever seen. In a matter of hours, they had taken the cities. In a matter of days they took the countries, and in a single week, the world. No army was ready for them, and the humans had no explanation for what was happening. They chalked it down to a virus. They were wrong.
But nevertheless, it was clear that the animals on the planet had...changed. They had mutated, became warped, and twisted, monstrous copies of their previous selves. And then, it spread to the people.... first by insanity, then by the complete inhuman change. Little could any of them suspect, that they were the cause of their turmoil. But others know this well.
The true cause was the corruption, the hate, the paint he secrets, the ill deeds caused by the creatures of the planet. Such deeds do not disappear, they remain, grow; twist, and they only needed a push before they could take over completely. The true monsters gave that push to it.
There are four creatures, demons, which have planned it all, and have succeeded. Now that the humans are gone, they will rise, take over, and destroy their last remaining threats.

Demons
The Beastmaster: Controls the many beasts and monsters in the known world. This animalistic psychopath communicates to them, gives them orders, and even creates new, much larger ones. Without The Beastmaster, the corrupted creatures would turn on their masters, becoming a threat to them as well, and never fallow orders, becoming nothing more then wild beasts, and useless to their mysterious cause.
The Weaver: A mysterious force. This demon is the thing of nightmares themselves, holding those that were unfortunate to survive the corrupt uprising captive. The weaver's responsibility is to extract the darkest thoughts, memories, and nightmares of the remaining few people. They never last long, but through the weaver, the earth itself is changing in appearance. It is slowly becoming the form the demons wish, and when that is complete, it is too late to fix.
The Soul Keeper: The Soul keeper is a demon with a hatred against all that is living so great it has become its very power. This creature extracts the good side of the people and animals, giving the corruption within them nothing to fight, allowing even the most innocent to become monstrosities. Without the Soul keeper, the corruption could not have spread as quickly or with as much force. Losing him would turn all the monsters back the way they came...though they could be corrupted again.
The Controller: The Controller is the power source of the corruption. This merciless one controls the corruption itself, making it spread and change on her command. Without her, there would be no fear of further corruption spread, though the monsters that have been made already would continue to thrive.
For they’re to be any hope for the future...all must be defeated.

Is there hope?
The world, as we know it, cannot be saved. It will never be the same, humans are all but extinct, and the creatures roam free, hiding in the shadows, waiting to strike. And yet, there IS one small spark of hope. There are a small percentage of people that are completely immune to the corruption, unable to turn into the freaks of nature that wander the known world. They...are our children. Noone knows why, but anyone aged 10 or younger is completely immune to the effects of the corruption. They, if they can be allowed to live, are all that stands between a hellish apocalypse, and survival. They are the hole in the demon’s plans
However, the demons are fully aware of this weakness, and as such, have made it their duty to kidnap, kill, and decimate every child in existence. There are only a few left, and the weaver holds them all.
And so the torch turns to the survivors, clever enough to hide from the monsters, the adults. They know their corruption is beginning to swarm within them...it will not be long until they become what they most fear. But they have a chance...to make a difference, to find, and rescue the remaining children. If this is done, the world can survive. If it is not...terrors beyond the wildest nightmares will ensue. The clock is ticking.

Powers: She can fly, she can make someone die just by looking at them in the eye
Personality: Raven is a cautious person, not one to get on the bad side with. Though she does'nt like the fact of what she is. Will kill anyone who annoys or pisses her off, but it's by complete accident. She does'nt like to hurt anyone, but she does it anyway.
History: Raven had no family. She was born abandonned and raised by her friends. Sadly, her friends were killed and she was the only one who got away, but now she's cursed with the corruption of it all. She has no one left to turn to anymore.

Appearance: A tall lizard-like creature. It has eyes like fire and black sking hard as rock. Has a few red/orange zones on its body. Also has massive spikes across it's body. About the height of an average human. Has an alligator like snout, and razor sharp teeth.
Weapon: This lizard-like being has no need for weapons, it's claws and jaw are plenty enough to kill the hardest of foes.
Power/Ability: This creature has supernatural strenght capacaties. It is capable of smashing through solid objects such as boulders and other realted objects. It is also very fast, wich permits it to run extremely fast.
Personality: This creature is extremely agressive. Will stop at nothing to kill you if you upset it, and will crush you if you get in it's way. Is a beast lives to destroy the humans. Will do anything to protect it's kind, and will do anything to end the human race. Not so bright, wich means he is not a clever fighter, but he certainly is a powerful one...
History: When he was born, he was abandoned by his parents, he was unamed since birth. but as he grew up, his friends are caregivers called him Rex. He had a painful childhood for he had no parents, he felt abnormal. And when he grew up, he learned to hate the humans, and his main goal now is to dispose of the human race, no matter what the consequences are...

personality: She is extremely protective, and for good reason. Unyielding love is in her nature, but she has learned in the recent times that love is not a good choice, except in Robbie's (her son's) case. Very slow to trust people, she only stays in small bands of humans for short periods of time, ever aware of the growing threat of being infected with this virus.
history: A mother for only 6 months, Anna-belle gave birth to Robbie just before the outbreak of mutation. Robbie's father tried to stay with them, but became infected very early on the time-line. Since the loss of her husband, she is very wary of getting close to anyone and has many a time killed to protect her baby. She has always preferred to be called by her full first name, but doesn't really care all that much about it now.

When all this started, she hit her head off something when trying to get away [at least, that's what she think happened, since she woke up in the middle of the wreckage] and lost her memory. She doesn't know much about herself, but it's coming back to her, slowly. She couldn't remember a thing before. Now she knows she's fifteen, her name starts with an "M", and she had two brothers.
