The moon was high in the night sky, it's perfectly round shape shining down on the forest and it's animals.The three small packs had sent runners to the border to see when the mixing would begin. The Mountain (snow) Pack's runner was already at the border waiting for the other two to arrive. Soon the Valley (desert) Pack's runner would arrive, whom would be followed by the Riverbank (water) Pack's runner. They'd all sit in the middle of the forest in a circle and debate over the time to gather.

Inside the forest were many animals, but it was mostly ruled by the creatures of the night, the ones that loved to romp around the forest floor, and send eachother flying into streams in a flurry of paws and fur. The Canines of the forest. Wolves.

But lately the packs surrounding the forest were having problems, whether from lack of food, or from another pack intruding; the wolves were on constant guard, and always patrolling their territory. The forest was made of three packs all with their own territory, but of course there was one area, the forest, that wasn't claimed that was free for all the wolves to go to 'mix and mingle' But like every other living creature, there was always someone trying to take it over.

Which is where the packs become untrusting and violent towards certain wolves, creatures and other living things, whether they be strays, from another pack, or from the same pack. Wolves always have enemies, even if it's inside their own pack.

The packs are small, but powerful, and they won't join together to make one or two packs. Cause then, the land wouldn't be even, someone would always have more land if they changed their packs, so they stay in their three groupings. The Riverbank pack, the Mountain pack, and the desert pack.

Personality: Her moods vary, but her personality is usually the same protective yet happy one it was before her family was murdered. She can be very protective over pups, as she doesn't want them to have the same thing that had happened to her; but she can also be a very caring, and hyper wolf who plays and just wants to have fun, despite the fact that she can be very serious. she tends to forget she's an alphess. She can also be quite tempermental, and go into rages, and she isn't afraid to protect those in her pack, or those without protection.

Appearance: She's still growing but so far, her body is quite slender but fit. Her eyes are quite pale. Her face varies from shades of grey, to black and white and very soft browns near her ears. Her chin and chest are white, while the rest of her body is a mix between black, grey, and white. Her legs go from white (her chest) and get darker with greys till they turn black at her paws.

History: When she was a little over half a year old a pair of hunters followed her tiny tracks to her den, where her mother, father, and siblings were sleeping. She had snuck out aimlessly, not knowing what she was doing as she was half blinded by the snow. She had always liked to go out on her own, which is exactly why she hadn't woken her mother up.

And she'd gone in search of the kill her parents had done not even an hour before; she had found it, which was in the middle of a farmer field, and had eaten until her small tunny was full and she had managed to wander back to their den, but she didn't go in, instead she wandered passed it to where her and her brother and sister always played and sat their near the small frozen over pond and nosed some of the snow. She fell asleep near the pond, but awoke to the sound of gunshots and the smell of gunpowder.

She had made it back to the den in a flurry of tangled legs and found hunters skinning her family. She had then run, and had only stopped once she found another wolf who took care of her, his name had been Kawa, but he died of old age when she turned 1 and she became the leader of his pack, the Riverbank Pack.

Personality: Earthsong is usually happy-go-lucky and always smiling, despite the fact that the food source in the desert is growing quite scarce. But, because of a painful past, she is very protective of those she cares for, and she knows when she needs to be serious.

She is a wolf that trusts anyone, even those who she first meets, but she isn't naive; she will keep catious around a new aquantance, until she is sure that they are true and sincere. Though she has a fairly decent temper control, she can get very angry if irritated correctly, and she does have a more... colorful vocabulary and a sharp tongue when she is mad.

Appearance:
Her eyes are a very light blue, rivalling the color of a glacier; they change into a deep sapphire and her pupils will either dilate or narrow into slits when she's angry.

She's fairly large for a female, her body compacted with muscle, almost to the point that she may look like a male in a certain angle. Her paws are considerately huge, and her claws are sharp, rivalling that of a blade's point.

Her fangs are long and thick, just as sharp as her claws, if not sharper, and her tail is very fluffy; it's good for a pillow.

Earthsong's body is covered in thick, long, silver-white fur, marred in certain places with black markings. These markings take on the shape of a butterfly, and they are on her shins and front legs; she also has a diamond-shaped marking on her forehead, and her ears are tipped with black.



History:
Earthsong was orphaned at a young age, forced to watch the death of her family by humans, then released into the wild, left for dead. Fortunately, her father's packmembers took her in, and her uncle raised her to be a healthy, happier being.

But, because of her heritage, and the mixed blood that runs through her veins, a lot of the other wolves of her father's pack thought that she wouldn't be a fit leader when she was old enough to take over as the rightful heir, but the persuading of her uncle came to be a benefit to her.

Now, she works twice as hard as any other wolf in her pack, attempting to show the elders that she will be a good leader, even after 3 years in command.

Despite the fued going on between all the pacts, Earthsong finds herself happy around Lela. Whether or not the younger leader has the same thoughts, the half-breed thinks of her as a close friend, and someone to relate to because of their similar past experiences.

Short History: Arosar was left by his pack in the middle of the hunt, they thought him too old and not fit enough for their foolishly young pack, and after they left him near the fresh kill, they took off. But they were stupid and headed directly where Arosar had told them not to go, into the middle of a field that had numerous deer.

He'd wandered around, and found their bodies in different areas of the field, some missing pelts, proof two-legged being had been there, but it hadn't just been humans. Very angry bucks, and does had charged at them, klling the pups who were between 6 months and 2 year old.

Personality: Regani Heln is rather blunt and fierce in his decisions. He tries to keep everyone in line and at the same time give him or her some room to be him or her self. He is naturally a wise and instinctive about people. Most of the time he’s seen ambling about by himself. He appears to be child like, but he’s actually very smart and strong in personality. He doesn’t like those who step out of place, so one who goes against him will be driven out of the pack. He has no tolerance for ignorance and stupidity. That is why he is not the one to be around children. One of his pet peeves is temper tantrums and fits. He believes dignity gets you more in life.
Appearance:
He is a large muscular male wolf. He was midnight black fur and golden eyes. He has powerful jaws and a thick core with muscular legs. His ears are cursed with a Lynx like point, but it bothers him none.

History: Regani is the son of Kawa. His mother died in child labor and he was the only pup to survive of the four, so his father always pushed him to do better then any of the other pups. Kawa was very distant with Regani, and often would never speak to him or recognize him as his own kin. He never liked Lela from the start and still doesn’t. His father spent more time with her then himself. It’s sort of a jealousy issue. He also feels that no one has the right to hide behind excuses like my family was murdered, or I have had some hard fights in my day. He finds in inexcusable to do such, because suffering isn’t a free pass to get out of doing things. Regani became Alpha after his father died because he fought the rest of the males for the spot and clearly won. Thus making his years of hard work pay off. It was only to his bad luck that Lela became Female Alpha.

Personality: Yalae Red Paw is a very driven and strong individual. She is very straight forward, telling the truth where ever it is needed. Being quiet, observant, and stubborn made living in a pack very hard for her. So she simply travels alone with out the company of anyone whom she can insult or drive away.
Appearance:
Small and muscularly defines. She has very lean and powerful legs, being very fast. Her tail blushes out and is a faded red color that gets darker until it’s an almost blood red color at her muzzle. Her fur is long and fluffed out and about in the winters so much you’d think she was a ball of lint, but is short in the summers. Yalae has strange green eyes and a very lovely face. She’s dainty and feminine.

Personality: Wolvenfire is very calm and collected, being always quite negotionable to others. He is very friendly, and he adores pups, just like his sister, and he extra careful when playing with them; his paws are almost as big as them.

He is a wolf that accepts anyone, even those who he first meets, but, unlike his sister, he doesn't trust them immediately. He will give them some sort of test, mostly unnoticable to the other, until he is sure that that animal is trustworthy.

He has a fairly decent temper control, just like his sister, but he get very angry if irritated enough, and his golden eyes get a very scary hue when he's angry.

Appearance:
His eyes are a strange gold, a very light green and blue blending towards the center of his irises; they change into a emerald green and his pupils will either dilate or glow brightly when he's angry.

He's very huge in body, bigger than any other known male, his body compacted with nothing but muscle; he looks like he could kill a full grown lion!

His paws are huge to fit his build correctly, and his claws are sharp, rivalling that of a blade's point.

His fangs are long and thick, longer than his sister's, and just as sharp as his claws, if not sharper, and his tail is very fluffy; it runs in the family, I guess.

Wolvenfire's body is covered in thick, long, black fur, so black that it's almost blue. He has many battle scars among his body, the largest on his face; it runs from the base of his right ear to the lower part of his left jaw and his ears are tipped with silver-white.



History:

Wolvenfire is very protective of his older sister, despite being younger, and will threaten anyone who threatens her, and he garuntees his victory. But he doesn't have to tell anyone that.

He has the battle scars to prove it.
