Ever seen Dawn of the Dead?If you haven't watch it, it's the only movie to really show you how a Zombie Apocalypse would happen, the remake is kinda bad, but the old one shows how military forces try to maintain order.That's what this is, not some stupid, "everyday people" thing, though many civilians would be involved.This is about the military...and Brain eating Zombies, let me explain:

It didn't happen slowly, one day everyone went to sleep, and instead of waking up from a nightmare, they woke up into one. One that hasn't stopped for two years. The whole world, gone, replaced by the Living Dead.
Not too say that there's no people left, oh no.In fact, their is a lot, and they want to take the fight to the Dead.To win, reclaim the world a city at a time, then clear the country, oceans, mountains.Anywhere and everywhere.
This group, are all ex military.With the odd civilian they've trained, there are currently 25 platoons, with each split into 10 Firing squads with team sizes rangin from 5 to 15. All around the world. They perform raids, hit and runs, ambushes. At first it would sound easy. Then again, these are no ordinary Zombies. Imagine 28 Days Later Infected, but only headshots kill them...Complete freakin' nightmare.
However, the group, by the name of the New World Army, or N.W.A. Are actually doing well, enlisiting all across the world. One of the first platoons was Alpha, thier first squad, Firing Squad Alpha 1. Are possibly the best known men and women in the world. They, on a standard routine patrol. Ran across a horde of Undead with a number too be estimated in the thousands. They quickly holed up, and fought them. 10 Soldiers, managed to eliminate around 367 Zombies within two hours, and they went on for another 3.Until the ammo ran out, and they were swarmed. Only one man came out, now leading 2.Those men and women, fought with brilliant accuracy and bravery, knowing full well the horde would always be there, unless they did something.
No other Alpha team has been named Alpha 1, out of respect.Now Alpha 2 spearheads all the Ops for Alpha platoon.Of the soldiers still alive today, they are among the best.

Ok, that's it.There 's some more stuff about Alpha 1, that will be kept for the rp.I'll allow two charries max.I'm taking the survivor, mostly because there are some big things about him I really want to do. =]
