Okay, this is a new Sci-Fi world I made. The Universe I made is called Void. All of the information of planets, races, and things of the sort are below. Vehicles I haven't made yet. Nor armour. So, we won't go into specifics with those.... Anyway. Yeah. Long read. But gimmie your input!! I'll post my profile later, but the name of my character is there.

PLOT
Outcasts are becoming more and more common amongst various homeworlds around the universe. Therefore, the High Council, much resembling the United Nations of Earth, has a plan. To keep the peace and preserve the purity of the worlds, all outcasts that are found are to be rounded up and placed on remote meteors where they'll live in isolation and solitude, working in various mines and factories to benefit other planets. In order to win over both the Outcasts and the residents, they make it look like those who don't fit in are going to a place where they'll be accepted for who they are. Resonance is a ship employed by the High Council to round up Outcasts and bring them to said meteors. However, some of the Outcasts have seen through the charade and are trying to get away, like the Outcasts you mentioned before. Their ship harboured many fugitive Outcasts heading toward a safe haven where Outcasts congregated, who were starting a rebellion. On the way, they passed through an electrical storm, and the ship's main computer went haywire. They crashed into a small meteor and were stranded. Some died. The survivors were picked up by Resonance, who happened to be passing by. They lied and said they weren't Outcasts, simply a group of friends going for a trip or something. The crew takes them in and befriends them, and stuff happens, and eventually they learn of their secret and the true nature of what they're doing, seeing as must have morals and wouldn't do that to Outcasts (some, not all, just for variety).
Some Outcast's the more... Resistant, were taken to a certain planet. Cimmarii. On that planet is a Genealogist trying to make these people into a 'Perfect Race'. Essentially breaking them down (almost literally) an rebuilding them to the shape they desire. The Genealogist works for the High Council, but, in turn, they are also the main scientist for a Terrorist Cell trying to take down the High Council so that they can run the Galaxy (or Core Worlds).
Races (Intelligent)
Specus: Specus are a subterranean race of creatures living in a constant stormy climate. They have adapted to the dark with large eyes, which are protected from the rain by thin, transparent lid. They have mastered Electrokinesis and Technokinesis making them renowned technicians. They are also an extremely religious race, believing in a being called ‘The Weaver’, a God which will some day lead them to a paradise in which they're not assaulted by 'rains of torture' all the time, and in which they can 'see clearly'. They also regard their abilities as something ‘Truly Holy’ making the most religious zealots think their race is ‘Chosen by the Threads of the Weaver.’
Covinnus: A Race of Nomads living on the desert-planet of Tesquamereo (pronounced Tesqua by foreigners, which greatly annoys the Nomads). The Nomads look almost exactly like tanned-skin humans except they have light fur, which, depending on the temperature, will grow out, or grow inward over a short period of time, ensuring the Nomads’ survival.
These nomads appreciate the finer things in life, and by Law they are trained from birth to hunt alongside a pet Nepacani, which is also a baby at the time they are born. The bond between a Nepacani and a Covinnus Hunter is extremely strong, the time a Nepacani leaves their master, is the exact moment the hunter dies, otherwise, the Nepacani will never leave the hunters side, no matter what. Covinnus find something Holy within this bond, and consider animals, no matter the kind, to be Holy, and deserved to be treated with respect. Because the fact that Family and Friends can come and go so quickly in their daily lives, a Covinnus considers the bond extremely valuable. Once a Covinnus is loyal to you, they, like their own Nepacani, are loyal until your death.
Lucaris: ‘Lucar’ being the plural term used for this race, the Lucaris, looking like humans with slightly-pointed ears and olive-tinted skin, the Lucaris are both graceful and intelligent. They are a race of highly technological scholars, preferring to learn and study about other races and planets, in order to know their own even better. Many humans call these noble people a ‘race of techno-dorks’, which is the universal insult for this race. The Lucaris, however, are highly respected on their political views within the High Council.
Velox: A race of Cybernetic ‘Humans’, robots with the thought-patterns and personalities of humans, they don't need sleep, but they do need a specific kind of food or liquid to function properly. They're also very light-footed and sneaky. As well as Hyper-mobile (essentially double-jointed) which enables them to move around an area completely and freely, in all forms. The Velox look much like a slender human though metallic grey in complexion, and quite tall, their skin looks like a mix of metal and leather, and their eyes are hidden behind dark purple visors. How this race came into existence is unknown.
Praeses: A sedentary cave-dwelling race living on Tesquamereo, the Praeses are a reptilian-cat like species, having the ability of both bipedal and quadrupedal movement. The Praeses have long, thin and slender tails, covered in a mix of scales and thin, sharp spines resembling fur, though is poisonous. Their claws enable them to climb tough areas like cave walls, cavern walls, and things of the sort. Their eyes have three thin eyelids, one is a normal eyelid, the other works with the pupil to see in the dark which is transparent and comes down automatically when light changes, and the third is the thin eyelid which enables them to see their preys heat signature, much like the thermal vision of a cave-snake. Their senses are all extraordinary, and they are quite dexterous, all of this makes them almost the perfect predator of Tesquamereo. The race is also the rival-race of the Covinnus.
Nivalus: A sleek humanoid fox with large eyes, razor-sharp teeth and claws, the ears of a fox, their body is covered in thin, grey and white fur, but their sleekness looks like that of a seal. They have a kind of pouch in their body, which stores fat from food they eat, and turns it into that protective fat. The Nivalus never gain weight from fat, therefore having a fast metabolism, their fat gained from food is not a method of gaining weight, but a method of sheer survival. The Nivalus also have the ability to swim quickly even in cold water, and run quickly even in deep sand. When away from their planet, their body stops producing the protective fat, therefore enabling them to survive in hot, un-cold weather as well.
Races (unintelligent)
Thermae: The Thermae are a race unique purely to Tempestas, they resemble a large bat mixed together with a snake, giving it an almost furry-dragon like appearance. Their claws are deadly, and their bite is poisonous. They will mostly feed on fish running in cave streams, though, they have been known to attack and sometimes kill Specus upon provocation.
Nepacani: A race of dog-like scorpions, these animals are sometimes kept as a pet by the local nomads of Tesquamereo. These animals do not have poison within their stingers though, and use it more like a fierce spear instead, preferring to use their claws and pincer-like teeth. The beings have only four eyes, two which are for nocturnal viewing, the other two are to see in the bright dunes of Tesquamereo.
Sinciput: A race of scaled pig-like dogs these animals are incredibly stupid, and walk straight into any trap, no matter how obvious, as their curiousity of foreign objects always gets the better of them, hence the universal expression ‘curiousity killed the sinciput’. Their scales are tough and can survive the harsh sun, even their natural predator the Nepacani has a tough time piercing their hide.
Veredus: The Veredus are a race of horse-like wolves, with sharp hooves instead of claws, though the heads of a wolf. The fur is usually that of a wolf, the body the same except for the hooves, though larger in build, and has a mane and tail of a horse, which can come in a variety of colours. The Veredus is both a predator and a means of transportation.
Cervus: Cervus are a race of fox-like deer, almost looking like a young deer though with orange-brown fur and a snout like a fox, as well as the tail. These animals are very evasive, and quick on their feet though are mostly no match for the stronger and faster Veredus-Riders of the Lucaris.
Planets
Tempestas: Tempestas is a very harsh planet, completely made of cavernous areas and caves. Weather is mostly constant lightning storms and electrical storms, which would be dangerous to survive by any race. It is also quite damp, and mostly cold on this planet. The environment is known to be extremely ruthless, and mostly only survivable by the only intelligent race, the Specus.
Tesquamereo: Tesquamereo is a desert planet, much like the Sahara desert of Earth. It has very few vegetation, but the few vegetation it does have is quite valued. Some of the vegetation, however, is completely poisonous and would leave any sentient being dead within a few hours. It’s home to a Nomadic race, and has very few cities stretched around it’s vast surface. The Sun around this planet is called Circes (the daughter of the Sun God, Apollo), which the Nomads consider Holy, because it is the ‘Ultimate Equalizer of Life and Death’. The main predator of this planet is kept mostly as a pet or companion to the Nomads, a dog-like scorpion called Nepacani. And the main prey around this area is a scaled pig-like jackal called Sinciput. The main capital city, the size of a small village, is called Clepsydra.
Cyranae: Cyranae is the primary core-world of the High Council, and the population of the Galaxy. The entire planet is a lush area filled with vegetation and water covering 50% of the surface, the other 20% being cities and villages, and the last 20% being natural vegetation. The capitol of this city is called Sidion. Most of the citizens however take the vegetation for granted, as well as the water, slowly deplenishing it’s natural resources. Other small cities within Cyranae are the cities: Tyrus, Prytan, and Compar.
Cimmarii: A planet within a Void area of space, this planet is secretly where the Outcasts of the Galaxy are taken, as well as any Prisoners. Cimmarii is extremely cold and barren. Going out without an insulated suit on would be suicide for any outcast. While they despise the life they've been tricked into, they can't escape, because their only source of heat, food, and shelter is the factories they work in and the living spaces provided.
Silfaunus: The ‘Forest Planet’ to the Humans, forests and mountains dominate the area, the buildings of the colonies on this planet are extremely high-technology, said to ‘tap into space-time’ in order to gain power to the city. The local wildlife consist of large almost horse-like wolves called ‘Veredus’, which are kept both as pets and sometimes even travel by the Lucaris. The prey residing on the planet look like a mix of both a deer and a fox called ‘Cervus’. The areas have many streams, which include the life of fish. The main stream, which runs through the Lucaris capitol of Aduro, is called ‘Vitamanus’.
Icotere: Icotere is a desolate planet of snow and ice with temperatures normally too cold for any race to live on, Icotere is an extremely harsh planet, native to the Nivalis. The waters are extremely cold, and home to many seal-like species covered in light fur, to help them survive, called Moratus. The winds are harsh, and the seasons utterly unbearable to most races. Colonies are scarce and survive mostly from oil-powered gases mined throughout the planet. The planet itself is one large test of adaptability.
Weapons Companies
Trans-Epoch-Arms (T.E.A): A weapons company, founded by Kistrel Carthe, a Lucaris Cival War Veteran, which has been making weapons since the year since the Desert War of Tesquamereo between the Praeses and the Covinnus races (Year 1. D.W) started, and supported the weapons-trade to the War of the Wastes between the Lucaris and Nivalus back in the Year 400 D.W. Trans-Epoch-Artillery is the mainly trusted Weapons Company in the Galaxy, specializing mostly in Ranged Weapons and Explosives, though does manufacture many of the Melee weapons throughout the Galaxy. All weapons made by this company have a slightly long hand-grip on their weapons, enabling every race to use them without trouble. While S.E.E.R uses plasma, because it is easier as a gun platform to base around and you don’t need to manufacture rounds for the weapon which is cheaper, T.E.A uses magnetic rail technology.
Secutor-Edge-Energy-Refined (S.E.E.R): This Melee weapons company, started by Covinnus Aseri Nochtai in the beginning of the Desert War. Later, this company, building both Energy and Metal-Based weapons, started being employed by the High Council Military. The company does make ranged weapons, though they prefer to make Blades, any energy-based projectile weapons they do create almost always have a bayonet-like blade on them. This company has been trusted primarily by the Covinnus and Praeses races.
Melee Weapons:
Nova Blades: A thin, knife-like blade, the Nova brand of blades have a thick metal handle with ribbed grip, their weight and size can vary, but they are always balanced in both weight and height. A Nova Blade is different than the common blade, as a button on the bottom releases a thin layer of mixed Plasma and Kinetic energies, making the blade work almost like it’s being super-heated.
Djinn Dirks: A Djinn blade is a short sword with an energy-based blade made purely from Plasma energy, making the blade have an eerie, dark, and electrical glow with a short humming sound from the energy, though the sound sounds more like a ghost than anything. The blades are not super-heated per se, though they can cut through flesh very easily, they cannot cut through metal very well, without using a lot of force.
Lilith Long-swords: The Lilith Long-sword is one of the more renowned blades throughout the Galaxy. Made originally by the Lucaris sword master Lilith Estravi, near the beginning of the Lucaris civil war, the Lilith blade has made it’s way up the ranks as one of the most finely balanced blade ever made by S.E.E.R. The Lilith Blade is a matte-black, fine gripped hilt, with a switch and two holes. One hole is for concentrated plasma to be released into the shape of a blade, much like the Djinn blades. The second hole is fire out a burst of plasma energy towards an opponent. This weapon can be used as both a medium and short range weapon. The weapon does need to be charged over time. It is impossible to use both the blade and the bolt setting at the same time, doing this creates an instant discharge, and the weapon will not work until charged again.
Oriax Wrist Blade: The Oriax wrist blade, made originally by a Specus scientist named Kallish Oriax, is a gauntlet with straps attached to a button, which is placed firmly on the palm of the wearer. This button can be pressed by using both the index and middle finger, which releases the blade. This blade is completely made from concentrated plasma energy, which makes the blades shape. The reason for this weapon being plasma is so that the weight of weapon doesn’t bear down the wearer. Though complex in design, mastering this weapon, as well as mastering the Marax blade, is quite difficult, and can take years of training.
Marax Concealed Blade: The Marax concealed blade was made originally in the Desert War by a Praeses assassin of unknown name and origin. The Marax concealed blade is an intricate work of mechanisms worn like a gauntlet. The blade is retractable, and requires momentum to be let out, like a punch for example, would release the blade, upon pulling your arm back with enough force, the blade will go back into the mechanism, and stay put until released again. The Marax blade can also be called out by a switch on the gauntlet, and it will stay out until the switch is pressed again. The concealable blade is designed with metal for the shape, and has a thin layer of plasma and kinetic energy around it, working much like the Nova Blade.
Ranged Weapons:
Manufactured by Trans-Epoch-Arms (T.E.A)
Plasma Based Automatic Pistol (P.B.A.P): Made by SEER, the PBAP (Plasma Based Automatic Pistol) is a personal defence weapon created specifically for V.I.P protection. Its muzzle velocity is 550 m/s, effective range is 250-300 meters. Each clip contains enough joules for 150 - 200 shots, the plasma globules are 3 cm in width and 7 - 9 in length. The shots heat level is equivalent to that of a young star. It’s 42 cm in length and with its stock extended it is 62 cm
One inmate remarked, "When I tried to kill that *censored* one of his thugs whipped out a bapper on me. Next thing I know I was on the ground watching my shoulder boil. Hurts like hell- ‘kay, that’s a bit of an understatement but you get what I mean..."
Rail-Accelerated-Assault-Weapon (R.A.A.W.): The RAAW has many types of variation, though the most trusted is the stock RAAW-IV (4), able to fire at 900 rpm (Rounds-Per-Minute) and with a muzzle velocity (speed of the bullet) of 1750 meters per second, the RAAW has a length of 98 centimeters, and weighing 6.5 pounds, though 7.5 when loaded with a full magazine (Magazine cap. is 50), firing 5.6x45 Shredder rounds, the RAAW has an effective range of 3500 meters, making it a weapon that can really make enemies dive for cover.
Rail-Accelerated-Sniping-System (R.A.S.S.): Also a staple of T.E.A technology and is modable. The RASS-27 is a powerful yet somewhat unwieldy weapon when used stock. It fires at a muzzle velocity of 2500 - 2700 m/s. it has an effective rang of 5500 meters. It can use several cartridge types depending on the job it is suited for but the default round is the 15.8x114 Momentum IV round. This round comes in several variants including incendiary, Armour Piercing, Anti personnel, Buck shot, Wade shot, and the list goes on. Its length is 111.5 cm and weight is 27 pounds. One rebel sapper remarked after the battle of (insert name here), "We were advancing slowly into the enemy Green Zone when my battle partner hit the ground. I thought maybe he tripped on something but when I turned him over a small, neat hole was in the middle of his forehead, no sound, no warning. A full twenty seconds later I heard the snipers round echo through the valley, the delay between shot and echo is amazing. The rebellion might have failed because of that weapon.
Martial Arts
Incursare: Incursare is a martial art practiced by mainly the Praeses, who developed it, but also by many other species. It consists of grappling and submission techniques, and can be used to defend against unarmed or armed opponents. It is not a deadly art, though, if used properly, could very well spell the end for an opponent.
Aciesei: A martial art made by the Covinnus as a form of CQC (Close-Quarters-Combat) for their military during the Desert War, Aciesei is a martial art which uses a series of strikes, grapples, along with the use of blades. Used primarily for being a deadly form of close combat, Aciesei, if used with skill, could be used to simply incapacitate an opponent.
Ustolere: Ustolere is a martial art made by the Lucaris scholar and blade master Alvani Ustolere in the times after the Lucaris civil war. Ustolere is a martial art which focuses mainly on the use of mastering the Lilith Long-sword, making it not only a more deadly weapon, but an extremely devastating one; the Marax concealable blade is also a focus of this art, learning to use it as a weapon of espionage, the Marax blade, in this art, is used to counter-attack and make quick strikes which are impossible to block.
