Kieth Cross stood in the top of the skyscraper, where he was told his prey would soon be arriving. He had been hired...hired by the eye. That wonderful red eye. it had told him that if he killed this man, he would become the best there ever was, and the dark cross could not resist. One simple kill...how hard could it be?

Blaze strode through the city, in search of his opponent. Flames burned in his hands as he set several cars alight in search of his enemy "Keith, where are you! Cowering no doubt," he said withi an evil chuckle and a fire glow in his eyes.

The Dark Cross looked over the edge of the skyscraper, and saw the man below it, vehicles flaming all around him. Kieth chuckled a dark sadistic chuckle, and without a moments hesitation, jumped off the skyscraper. he was brought down quickly by the force of gravity, obsorbing the darkness into his shade-like presence. Absorbing the shadows, they soon formed into a pair of wings, and held him into the air as he flew down, directly for the flaming ones form. "Right here..." he said, and drew his sword, immediately taking a huge slice to the creatures chest, and landing on the ground safely.

"I've been waiting for you,...let's make this fun..."

Blaze gritted his teeth as the sword sliced his chest, flames swirled on his chest, sealing the cut. He laughed sadistically "Is that the best you can do?" he smirked and a flaming sword formed in his hand "Indeed, this shall be a very interesting fight, but I do not expect to stop until your body lies burning at my feet." He circled Kieth and slashed out across his torso with his burning sword which would cut him and burn him at the same time "If you have retained any sense of family, I would suggest that you say your goodbyes now. For tonight you sleep in Hell!" He let out and lunged at Kieth, blasting him with scorching flames.

Kieth felt the slash go across his chest, and laughed at that a bit, as he jumped back. He laned on the ground a few feet away, and watched as searing hot flames leapt at him. However, kieth was quick. he brought his own sword into the path of the flames, and they simply dissipated by the icyness of that sword.

"Pathetic...." he said in a darkned voice, and leapt once more, clashing swords with him.With a sudden laugh, kieth turned into hsi shadow form, and immediately reappeared behind Blaze, grabbing his arm, and twisting it back with tremendous force, in an attempt to break it. He then moved up his leg, and kicked the elementalist hard in the back, bringing him to the ground.

Blaze laughed as he wsa brought to the ground "Do not worry fool," he sneered "I am only getting started." He gritted his teeth in pain as Kieth kicked him in the back, he lashed out and twisted his feet around his legs causing his foe to trip and hit the ground hard. "You are a pathetic fool! You think that you stand a chance against the son of the Fire Lord himself," he laughed "I will not be content until your body is smoking beneath my heel!" He grabbed Kieth by the foot and threw him into a nearby building, each time his foe touched him his flesh was burnt but Blaze's fire "You are an insult to Elementals everywhere, not even fit to wield the element of ice," he spat contemptously.

He clicked his knuckles and grinned evilly as he waited for his foe to re-emerge "Hahaha pathetic fool, you make me laugh. I will take great pleasure in burning you to a crisp."

Kieth was thrown into a nearby building, but was not at all discouraged. Shade's felt very little pain, thoguh they sufferred injuries. When The dark cross landed in the building, he simply got back up, pointed his sword and laughed.

Without a word, he turned into a shadow, and charged at the elementalist, and punched, him, before spinning and kicking him hard in the chest. then, Kieth used the darkness around him as a fuel source, and punched him with a colossal punch in the skull. The elemental went flying back, into a nearby building on HIS side of the street.

"And I thought the son of the fire lord would be tougher. But that's no problem...means I can finish this, and be home in time to perhaps...shall we say...meet some of your friends...." Kieth said, then lunged again, this time actully, impaling the elementalists one arm. he smiled a sadistic smile, and pounched him many times while he was pinned to the wall.

Blaze cried out in pain as he was thrown into the building and the sword impaled his arm "You will pay dearly for this," he spat, disorineited by the blow to his skull, he shook his head to clear his vision and spat blood and a broken tooth. He smirked "Ah, you are more of a challenge than I first thought dark one," he laughed at the pain and tore his arm from the sword leaving a large gash. He looked down at the wound and smirked "Interesting," he then turned his attention back to Keith.

He clicked his neck and the gash in his arm, although paining him greatly did not distract him, he did not bleed but fire poured from the wound "Well this is getting interesting," he said and lunged at Kieth, his fists alight with flame "This is merely the beginning," he snarled and hit Kieth hard in the stomach with his burning fist which would leave a scorch mark on his chest.

kieth was punched in the chest, searing and driven back. But he just laughed. "Well, good, you do have some fight in you...I'm not going to be completely disappointed..." he said, and roundhouse kicked him to the face, throwing him back again. As he hit the ground, Kieth grabbed bitfs of the darkness, of the very shadows, and began throwing them at Blaze. Each one hit him in the chest, with a huge impact, actually throwing him into the air and through a window.

Blaze gritted his teeth in pain as Kieth hit him, the darkness pounded against him as he was thrown through the window. He grunted in pain and got to his feet, broken glass stuck in his back. He clicked his neck and smirked as the glass melted due to his burning fires and dripped to the ground. "Ah, a very good hit," he said and blasted a hall in the wall to get out "it appears that you are not such a weak fool as I first thought you were," he said and ignited his fists again. He unleashed torrents of burning flame against Keith "Now you will see how a Fire Elemental really gets his work done," he laughed maniacally and blasted his foe with fire-balls before leaping into the air and slashing down at him with his burning sword "I did not like being thrown through that window and unless you want to feel what it is like to have your insides burning I would not recommend trying it again."
