I hope this satisfies various people. I think personally that angels should be pure and therefore uncorruptable.

This is unclear. Obviously they can be in exceptional circumstances (The Fall). Can they be at other times? Can I make the polls from now on so that they are perfectly clear? :P

As WP said they were corrupted during the fall but otherwise I don't believe that they should be corruptable.

I really dont think angels should be corrupted. if it was possible, there would probably be a whole gang of "chaos-angels" and feels even more wrong.

Okay, i will be VERY HONEST. I dont like the idea of angels being a perfect race, it dosent fit them in with the "dark" background trying to be adopted in fantasy of late. No other race exsits that cant be corrupted in some way, i honestly think it would be best if, in exceptional circumstances (EXCEPTIONAL) Angels have the ability to be corrupted by the Dark G-ds.

Cant you imagine Angels craving power? Prehaps a Cherubim suddenly realises that he should be in control and so seeks new power, unable to find a way angeliccaly he turns to chaos.

I dont like the idea of complete purity throughout the race, even if you eradicate all emotions somthing is still there, deep down, in a single strand of DNA somthing burns for change. What this change may be, that is up to the angel to decide.

Okay, look, by saying they go in search of power, we contradict the foundation of the army. Chaos is the lust for power in purest form, we're supposed to be the antithesis of Chaos. Corruption from the fall (and perhaps a tiny bit survived...) seems to me to be the only kind the angels can be vulnerable to. How about this. We make it appear that all the Fallen Angels were anhilated, but hint that a few survived. However, we can't have the angels running around trying to establish their greatness. If we do that, the army I started this site to create no longer exists. :P

now that works and WP as is aid before it will only happen under the rarest circumstances (i.e. forced, the black sheep wants power) but it isnt going to be left and right. mabey it could happen but it wont and even if it does they are killed right off the bat. special tactics squad *twisted*

I like WP's idea. Make it sound like there are a few fallen who survived and maybe passed on their taint through the generations so some angels might be only tthe tiniest bit tainted.

Just the new guy here but of the Daemon armies out there I have yet to see a "good" one. The Forces of Chaos are not corruptible as they are that corruption. As the Angelic Legion should be the yin to the Daemon Yang. Just a thought but if you think of them this way, the other side of the Daemon coin, it would be near to impossible to corupt them.

Yeah, obviously with the exception of Chaos.

Then again, chaos warrior corrupted by Sigmar prehaps?

Also you can't corrupt the corrupted so what you are saying is imposable

But I say we are their opposite but as GS said every race can be corrupted so we should be able to be as well to a less of an extent.

One thing DA, technically Malal doesn't exist anymore. He's been written out AFAIK. And I've never heard of a corrupted Chaos Warrior :P. I really think that if there are/were any Dark Angels, they were annihalated or turned into full demons of the chaos army and therefor no longer exist.

Well.... in the corrupted's point of view, they haven't been corrupted, so if your turn from Chaos to "the light" lets call it, isn't that a corruption in the eyes of Chaos?
