DA has decided to get in on the action and has challenged me to a 2k match. I'll put out my trusty ol' orcs and gobbos and DA will command the angels. The time isn't final, but probably 1PM-2PM SST. We need an overseer, any volunteers?

OK the battle is gonna happen on Saturday starting at like 1:15-1:30PM SST. My 2K Horde of Morgal Toofsplitta vs his 2K Angels. We don't have an official overseer, probably gonna be Baran, but just in case someone else is free...

DA surrendered after turn 1 when Gork's Warpath and Mork Save Uz had destroyed around half his army (models-wize, not points-wise). When he had half his army and had to go through 6 released fanatics (9 more to be released) and a Giant, he just called it. Good game DA.

Sounds like you had a pretty cheesed out list Clavix. Either that or you got really lucky. Try to keep it more balanced next time so we can get some good results.

I told him to use the WAAC list. Balance is good, but we need to play against extreme armies too. If we win, we have problems.

Haha that's funny. Poor DA. I see that Clavix was a big meanie and quite lucky.

Well, I had never used that list and I wanted to cream DA and the thought of 15 Fanatics + a crap load of magic was just too good to pass up. Also DA could have at least TRIED to dispel at least one of my spells. I think he thought I'd actaully use every spell I had... Anyways, he definately could have tried to dispel Mork Save Uz, but he didn't. I think this proves that we need some kind of dispel item. Something like a Dispel Scroll, but more of like what Dwarfs have (Rune of Spellbreaking).

Gives us the power to dispel, but pretty much makes it so we can't have a scroll caddy.

first i wassaving my dice for an effective spell to block then i lost all chance to dispell the most shocking thing is 5 dice and no duble ones

we do need a dispell scroal loke item but make it so all heros/lords can carry it

DA, it wouldn't have matter if i had rolled a miscast because he had Buzgob's Staff, so I just would've re-rolled it :P.
