I voted for ayamith as aurora just doesn't sound like a city name to me for some reason. Remember that the one that loses this and aether can still be the names of minor cities.

After much deliberation, after Aether was removed from the list, i said Ayamith. Just sounds better. I'm currently pronouncing it ay-eye-a-mith. Anyone disagree?

When I thought of it believed it to be pronounced like (eye-a-mith) but I have started think ing of it as A(as in the ABCs)a(as in uh)mith total= Aamith (lol confusing)

it does it sound some what tribal it more than likely sounds like a gem amethyst, but if you are going to compeat for the most heavenly looking the aura borialis wins

Well, just because we have gone through rounds and rounds of voting, that doesn't mean everyon'e going to be content, and I would be suprised if it didn't come up again in the future. Ayamith-the -mith suffix makes it sound kinda hooka-chaka. Aya reminds me of the beginning of the Italian pop-single Numa-Numa (rather primitive sounding).

Honestly, I'll bet we could do a poll on whether or not the end result is actually favored, if people were just sick of the issue, or if people genuinly like the result, and I'd bet the latter wouldn't get a majority.

We are not doing another poll and if people are not happy, we are sorry to say they are SOL. This poll will be closed soon and I know it was close and many like one or the other but what the poll says is final.
