Title: Big story

Ironskintribe - January 26, 2006 01:34 AM (GMT)
Hey guys, I am thinking of writing a 20-40 page story on the angelic beings and their ancient fight against the demons of chaos from the south. I plan to write it as a journal of the only man who has ever seen the angels. It will seem to all others as if he is mad but it is the pure truth of the angelic beings. I plan to write this for a writing compitition for the state of Georgia, and was wondering if you guys this this is a good idea. It will also make some good fluff to put into the book (obviously not the whole thing). Just tell me what you think of the idea and I will be sure to put it up for you when I am done (near the first of march).

That. Sounds. Amazing. Wow. Can you include some story about the old ones and the opening of the chaos gates? So far, it sounds like.... WOW.

Well technically I am not allowed to use any copyrighted information and it is supposed to be all of my own creation, so I will change the name of our characters for my story, but I would like not to use to much GW creations. I will probably mention the old ones as a race of ancient beings that was believed to have created the angels but I doubt I will go into too much detail on that. And thanks for the encouragement Baran.

Well you have my faith. It sounds like a pretty big task mind, assuming 12-point typed A4, 30 pages would be 18-20 thousand words which is no small deal. Admittedly its not full-length novel size, but its still a hefty piece of work to undertake. Best of luck to you Iron, and don't forget to save regularly, and always keep a backup on an external storage device in case your computer breaks down B)

Well, good luck to you (can the main characters name be Baran? That would just be so cool... :P).

It will be an intresting read as well, write fast, write hard, but most importantly write well!
