Here you will find an explenation of what the Seraphim Project is all about.

Our goal is to creat an Angelic Beings army for Warhammer Fantasy. We will write fluff and rules, playtest lists, and do all the other things the creation of an army requires.
We need people to help us with this project. We need:
Flufwriters: People to help write the story of the Angelic Beings.
Rulewriters: People willing to help write armylists.
Playtesters: People to help playtest the list.
Anyone else willing to help.

This is just a quick rundown. More information will be added later.

has anyone attempted to contact GW about the project/is there any intention to contact them in the future?

I believe that we were planning to contact GW with our final product, but we don't want to send them crap so we want to get good fluff, etc. before we send it off.

It is unlikely they will do much with it, at most possibly (hopefully) they will publish it as an un-official list in WD, or at least give it a mention.

I doubt they will take it and use it as a major list etc.

You guys do realize that we could publish this into a web list for other people to take...

Hell, I could even make it look like a warhammer book if we got a few more artists and some people who were willing to help me.

That is the plan!

We are going to publish as a weblist, and i would like to see it look like a proper warhammer book. (heck there are enough LOTR's unofficial suppluments aroun) But, unfortunatly things that are just published on the web by fans would tend to die.

Out "ultimate" dream would to be for WD to publish it, as it is unlikely GW are going to make this into a real army book. But, you never know...

Hmmm. I doubt it'll ever make it to WD. HOWEVER, if we can make it and get people to play with it, it would be a pretty good fringe army. Probably not tournament legal, but fun and maybe someone from GW would eventually notice. But I doubt they would.

I dont know about the US one, but the UK one does enjoy its submissions.

Im sure if i pound some people with letters/death threats and call in a few favours i may be able to get somthing.

It will be a great achievment if we can do this i think.

I think it would be wonderful if we could get it in White Dwarf, or as on online book. All we can really do though is finish it and then try.

so, with it in a word processor, then converted into a PDF, then put online, it would look like all of the real ones that GW puts on their sites

Is there any reason why we cant do all of the choices? E.G: Give to WD, Publish Online, Get created as an actual List...

Okay, 2.0 will be made into a PDF and we can go from there.

Speaking of 2.0, when are we going to make it? I mean, we have 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 etc, so when do we end the ones, and start the 2's?

That would be the equivilent of a major publication, so when it reaches a point were we feel we can actually advertise it widely as a very ballanced and playable list.
