not unhappy with it though tere is still much improvement possible

Mage 1: I just don't like that model. I don't know how you would make the ball glowing. Would a gloss varnish work?
Mage 2: Mine is painted with brighter colors on the object in the left arm to draw attention to it, though this seems to be painted better than mine. Probably because it is. Not sure how the rest of your army looks, but, unless it is less bright, that dirty effect on the cloak looks out of place.

Nice work, i think youve done a really warm scheme for the model, something i like.
Personally, however i would like to see you do some 40k Harleys. They would present an even more potential for a mixed pot of colours than you have got here.
