More for fun than anything else... :D

The Throne, draped in beautiful azure robes lined with the finest gold kneeled before the council of Seraphim in the highest sanctum of the Tower of Stars, the centre of the Angelic city. His wings were folded back, motionless and his two hands grasped a staff that was inlaid with ancient script, circling it to the very top.

"And you are certain of this?" questioned one of the Seraphim that sat surveying the Throne with interest. He was gigantically built his face, like all of the angels in the room coverd with an elaborate Mask. His was Silver trimmed and encrusted with fine rubys in patterns of manical cackling faces. "I am my lords" replied the Throne "This item is of pure chaos, the Sons have been hunting it for weeks. Never before has such a large amount of pure Chaos energy been enimating outside of the poles." A number of tiny familiars, apparently uninterested in what was happening were fluttering around the room, each minature Angels themselves. One swooped down to the kneeling Throne and sat pecariously on the top of his staff. "Then it must be destroyed" spoke another Seraphim, this one sounded like an old man, exhausted in tone, his body was much thinner and appeard frailer. "Very well" the first Seraphim spoke "We shall dispatch a number of warbands to leave the city. They must not reveal themselves and work for the crowns destruction. The Angels are not ready to reveal themselves to the world yet". With that the Throne rose and left the chamber. The immortal Seraphim sat surveying a large model in the centre of the room, on it small figures moved about, each a representation of every member of the holy city. The Angels were going to war once again.

other races know of the angels, lizardmen know of us the most but chose not to interfere, Elves know of us as winged creatures, and humans know of us only though tales told about drunken sailers.

Yes DA, but im not saying that exactly. They are still really just legends to the other races (except maybe the Lizzies, but they dont really care)

You should never take anything said in a race's perspective fluff piece literally, (and always with a grain of salt). And it's safe to assume that Lizardmen, Elves and the ruling class of Cathay are aware of the Angelic race's presence.

Good work on the fluff piece. I would like some more evocative descriptions and imagery though. The presence of Angels, especially Thrones and Seraphim, is supposed to be intimidating and powerful, and I think this could have been milked a bit more.

I totally agree with you, but several cans of beer and being around 2 in the morning resulted in this... :D. I think some more Nemisis fluff from is not a bad idea, and i havent flexed my fluff muscles in a while.

Well first fix this typo "enimating". Then I say that this is rather good but I agree with AoA on the fact that it could be better by adding more descriptive detail. It would also give us a longer (possible page or two) short story for the army book.

To quote a t-shirt DA "Im not an alcoholic, alcoholics go to meetings. Im drunk".

To keep on topic though, im working on some more Nemisis fluff now. Hopefully someone will read it :D
