whatd'ya think of FF
my fav is VII and X...

I don't really care much for the series. I used to luv it, but the environments got way to plain, and the stories don't hold me like a certain other RPG series...

I don't like FF too much, too formulatic. Plus, I hate the cheesy romance.

yeah, yet the same people who fawn over cloudXAreis claim that YuriXAlice is too underdeveloped :rolleyes: . FF fanboys tend to say anything that does something better than an FF game is "Underdeveloped" from my experience...

While the FF series is getting some good changes in 12 and 13, I still don't have much interest, they are just so... normal. We've seen wannabe action rpgs before (Magna Carta), bad romance, angsty protaginists, and fluffy animals all before. I will admit FFXIII looks good (possibly no stupid moogles anymore!).

where can i find stuff about XIII?

Never really liked. The story never hit "high" parts of suspense plus no special qualities.
Though XIII looks good i still need to see more.

FF13 looks pretty, maybe it can fix all the problems i've had with it.
I liked X, but X-2 seemed like it was trying to be a joke...

I've played some of FFXII and I think it's probably the best one yet. I'll get back to it once I beat Tales of the Abyss. So far It avoids some of the cliches you expect from the usual FF game. I'm kinda concerned about XIII, though. It looks like they're taking in a totally different direction. I can't really come down on it yet, though. We don't a whole lot about it yet. The real question is would you pay $650 for it? Although, I can see myself paying that for SH4. :P

XII is way different. And in the good way. Probably the best rpg on PS2, IMHO.

You could say that. :P It's similar to FF6 in that there is no central character. If you think Van is too much of a ninny just think of Balfear as the main character.

Well I bought a copy of VIII for some reason. I'm actually enjoying it more than I thought I would.

I hated Squall. I hated Cloud. They're both so emo and stuck up.

Cloud sure, but Squall was also a bad ass...

I have my copy of XII now, I like it so far...
