I'm never sure about sending out poems that have appeared in pamphlets but not in magazines. Is it a no-no? Is it okay, especially if the pamphlet is sold out or has a very limited print run? If it's okay, do you tell the magazine editor you're sending it to?

Published is published, and most publications will not accept any poem that has been published elsewhere, print or net. I suppose there are exceptions - based more on not being found out - for example, if you first published a poem in your local writing group's joint pamphlet in a print run of 50 or in a local newspaper.
