Not to be confused with the POF forum, the Poets on Fire blogsite is dedicated to listing live poetry and spoken word events and performances across the UK (and sometimes beyond).

From this Thursday May 1st, the POF blog will no longer be run as a single editor enterprise but as an editorial team effort, and that team will consist of me, Nina Davies, Charlotte Runcie and Matt Merrit.

I want to thank all the other people who applied for the job. It was hard to choose between you and I was pleasantly surprised by all the interest, but in the end I decided to go for a broad spread of talents, experience and geographical locations.

If anyone applied who has not received a 'sorry but thank you for applying' email, please let me know. I am suspicious that at least one application went astray when I accidentally deleted some POF-related messages instead of moving them to a particular file. So if that was you, email me!

Meanwhile, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to new team members Nina, Charlotte and Matt: I prophesy there'll be some major shake-ups of the blog ahead, some fresh ideas and energies, and a bright new future for POF to look forward to!
