Does anyone know who published Gordon Wardman's Caedmon, The Common Shoddy of the Tongue?
I mentioned Gordon on another thread today and it reminded me that I need to get hold of a copy of Caedmon. I'm fairly sure it was published, by a small press, around the end of the nineties, but can't seem to locate it even on Google or out of print book sites.
I have a very early draft version of the mss somewhere, but the published version is what I really need. I want to refer to it, if possible, in an article that I'm writing.
Just realised I might be able to find it on OLIS (library records). But it would still be nice to actually own a copy, if anyone can remember the publisher etc.
Scrap that. Just found it on OLIS. It's Odyssey Poets, Derrick Woolf, Nether Stowey. Note to self: Remember to exhaust all possible avenues of enquiry before posting a query on POF.
Sorry! :D
The library holds no copies though, so I'll have to hope Derrick and Tilla have still got a few kicking about somewhere. Does anyone know - in that case - whether they are still based at Coleridge Cottage?
Seriously, does anyone here know if that is still the right address for Derrick/Derek Woolf? I'd really like to buy a copy of Caedmon from him.
I've been googling but I think the great internet explosion passed Odyssey Poets by, unless I'm just looking in the wrong places.
Thanks for that, Angela. I've emailed the shop to see if they've still got it. Fingers crossed!
:D
