After variously discussing your collection on my blog, Raw Light, I get several hits a week now from people googling 'Best Man poems' and finding that reference instead.

Can you imagine them reading out 'The Best Man That Ever Was' over the champagne toasts and scraping of dessert forks? By about halfway through, the mother of the bride would need oxygen.

yeah, but the mother of the bride's probably been there herself a few times
