My subscription to Rialto has just finished this month. Any recomendations for a good magazine to read?

Contempory, and interesting not just "oh right?" kinda stuff

My current subscriptions are for Iota and Acumen.

You could browse on the poetry library site (although I realise that many good publications are not there) http://www.poetrymagazines.org.uk/

Hi Jim, & all..

Tears in the Fence is worth subscribing to. Of course I would say that as I'm Associate Editor. The Editor is David Caddy, whom some of you may know. We both have quite eclectic tastes, so you get all sorts of interesting work in there. In particular I'm encouraging more experimental and younger (not necessarily at the same time!) poets to contribute. There's also a very fine reviews/essays section, often the most popular bit of the mag. I do a regular column too, but you can never have enough loo roll.

Recent/regular/not-so-recent contributors include:

John Kinsella
Barry MacSweeney
Ian Brinton (reviews)
Peter Carpenter
Jennifer K Dick
Edward Field

I think we have 500 or so subscribers, and some issues sell out too.
