Regular - yep, all three of you - posters on this forum will have noticed by now that we have a new section at the top of the page. This is a temporary home for members of the Poem forum, who are having serious log-in and other difficulties at the Poem forum.

It may be that no one will want to migrate here, but I've made the offer and so we may - or may not! - get some new members soon in the form of Poem forumers looking to post without difficulties. I hope you make them welcome.

Do please bear in mind though that some of the posts which are acceptable in the 'live' poetry section of Poets On Fire will not be acceptable in the Poem Forum section.

This is because it's a different area of poetry altogether and threads in that section will tend towards detailed discussion of contemporary poetry in print rather than the sort of informal events-based posts we usually get on Poets On Fire.

If it works, it works. If not, we just go back to normal. Break out the Vimto. Stand down the troops. Wriggle back under the duvet.
