Title: Video Slam - call for entries

slamidol - October 20, 2006 10:50 PM (GMT)
Hello, Simon here from Slam Idol (the podcast).
I'm planning a video slam on my podcast, so I'm looking for poets to send me some video-poetry performances. Have you got any (or do you know anyone who does)?
I have received three video poetry submissions for the "video slam", and there are 3 more places available, so please: if you've got a video recording of your poetry, please get in touch via e-mail. Don't attach the video file initially, just in case it exceeds an e-mail quota somewhere. I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks,
Simon.
P.S. Today is the 1-year anniversary of my Stephen Fry interview (which can still be heard on my podcast). That was only a year ago - doesn't time fly?

I have some short poetry films on my website-www.ravingbansheepoetry.com, though i dont know how you put them into a file, but if they qualify, check them out and let me know.

You could go one step further than this - or should that be ten or more steps? - and have naked poetry videos, couldn't you? Just you, your poetry and a web-cam. What an idea. There are some poets you just wouldn't want to see in that way. Me, for instance. And others, well, you'd pay good money ...

These are perfect, Lorna. Which one of the 3 poem-films would you like to submit to my contest?

Two episodes of this video podcast Slam are up so far.
What do you think of each of the entries? Check them out at http://slamidolpodcast.com/v2/contest15.html
Contestant number 1 is Paul Blackburn.
Contestant number 2 is Robert G. Parent.
Lorna's poem will be up next, I think.
