Where were you when you heard the news?

I was getting up I just came back from bathroom and heard on the radio that a plane hit towner one then 15 mins later towner 2 was hit then I knew that it was a terror attack on America. I had no school that day because they cancelled school for KVCC or Valley and WMU as well a few days before 9/11 there were roits on WMU campus. I went to work a few hours after WTC and Pentgon were hit and that Untied 93 hereos took down the plane in a field in PA.

I remember that day like it was yesterday. And I'm thankful that there hasn't been an another attack on America soil. My heart prayers are with family and friends that lost there loved ones on 9/11 so sad. God Bless America and men and women servering over seas and that our fighting for our freedom.

I was off of work that day. I went to the grocery store to pick up a few odds and ends we needed for the house.

I was listening to the radio on the way back to the house when the first plane hit. At that point they weren't sure what was going on but they weren't calling it a terrorist attack. Then a couple minutes later they said another lane flew into the WTC and I remember thinking to myself if they we joking around about this it was in very poor taste.

I got home and turned on the TV and couldn't believe what was going on. I called my dad in FLA and he too was in a state of shock because we weren't sure what was going on on a grand scale(like are we now at war?) and it not sure as to how it would change the country and our way of life.

It's hard to even think about the events of that day and the feelings you get wondering who attacking our country and where will it stop.
