Title: R.I.P. Julius Carry

Taking a look at his imdb page it looks as his first role is one of my favorite movies (for how awful the movie is) the Disco Godfather with Rudy Ray Moore where he played Rudy's basketball star nephew.

If you look, his first 3 roles (Disco Godfather, The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh, and The White Shadow) are all basketball roles.

Julius has quite the impressive resume, and then there's the immortal Sho-Nuff character. Who doesn't love "The Last Dragon"??

QUOTE
Mr. Carry, 56, died of complications from pancreatic cancer Tuesday, Aug. 19, in his Studio City, Calif., home, said his mother, Rev. Helen Carry, executive minister of Christ Universal Temple in Chicago's West Pullman neighborhood - Chicago Tribune

Why can't they do anything about cancer after all this research and all this money? 56 is way too young to go. Cancer took my father this past February at only 55, so I'm particularly sensitive to hearing of people losing battles with the disease.
