The Detroit Free Press - Coming off a heartbreaking 90-89 loss at home against the Pistons, Magic guard Jameer Nelson has guaranteed a victory in Game Five on Tuesday, according to The Detroit Free Press.
"You know what, we’re going to make some adjustments, and we’re going to go there and win this game," Nelson said to Florida Today on Saturday. "I’m not being arrogant or cocky or anything like that, but tonight, we let it slip out of our hands, let Game 2 slip out of our hands, and we’re going to win this game in Detroit."
"For some reason, I feel we’re still the better team," Rashard Lewis told the Orlando Sentinel. "It was our mistakes, nothing they did. They’ve still got to beat us one more time." |
Anyone else think that is the funniest thing they ever read?

Since we have Rasheed Wallace and his "Guaransheeds" we shouldn't be mocking another player about such things.
Hey, if it gives his Magic teammates some confidence, more power to them. No one should ever state that their team is quitting, like Carmelo did after the Lakers were up 3-0 against Denver in the first round. I myself am not 100% confident the Pistons will close it out in Game 5. It will depend if Chauncey can play.

Remember the magic said they were modeling there team after ours a few years ago... so now they are trying to copy sheed from the pacers series in 04

Yeah, they have to say stuff like this. They have no alternative motivation. It's get the W or guarantee your tee times.

I hope Nelson got his tee time all setup because Pistons are going to win tomorrow.

I hope we get the win tomorrow, I'm not really in the mood for the Pistons blowing another big lead in a series, like last year to the Cavs and almost the Bulls.
We just need to get the job done NOW. Get ready for the Celtics or Cavs. And quit messing around.
